I know you're a big sox fan' date=' but have a serious problem of overlooking the facts because of bias. In Sabathia's last 8 starts, the Yankees are 7-1. In Lester's last 8 starts, the Sox are 4-4.[/quote']

not to be rude, but nothing i said had anything to do with sabathia's last 8 starts or jon lester. and when i posted the red sox pitching stats since the all-star break without any commentary you claimed i was saying that becuase they pitched well for a week, we should jeopardize the team's future in a trade. i think you're reading way too much into the things i say

It's the tenor of his posts that show the most bias. Everything written about the Yankees is said with negative undertones. Everything written about the Red Sox is said with positive undertones.

Yet the two teams are seven games apart in the standings. But whatever, I'm a Yankees' fan on a Red Sox's forum, so a certain amount of bias against the Yankees and towards the Red Sox is to be expected.

the yankees are certainly a good team, but you can't honestly expect us to pat them on the back every time they do something well. after all, this is a red sox forum

Haha' date=' was that a joke at me? In my defense, Jacko had 6 posts straight that one time :D[/quote']

Wait you said this before? I swear i didn't try to take your idea. I've never seen you wrote this in the month that I've been here so my bad. I just didn't want him to feel like he was talking to himself. I was actually reading them.

No worries, I just made a very similar comment on the Yankee Prospect thread a week or two ago, and assumed you were referring to that.

Not trying to sound like an ass but are there any good yankees forums? It's like you talk about the game to yourself. I'm pretty sure on a Red Sox forum no one wants to talk about the Yankees.

It's good having some Yankee fans around to give a different perspective on things.

I have been on a ton of Yankee sites. I've found one that I post at occasionally, but is pretty dead and the scout.com forum is a pretty active one, but it is a pay site. I have visited a lot of other Yankee sites, but all it becomes is a fight.

I understand. I have no problem at all with you posting it just feels weird for me to watch you post and no one communicates with you.

y228' date=' Hughes is gonna make mistakes. He got away with one that inning, but overall, his FB is locating and his curve looks nasty[/quote']

Of course he's going to make mistakes. I'm merely pointing out that he was lucky. Granted, I don't think Hughes has good fastball command, but that wasn't the point I was making.
