WHy must we always gets these dumbass jamokes who make the worst f***ing decisions of all time? I hope he goes to the Cubs. His mismanagement would bring the entire city's suicide rate up 20%

I'm sure he didn't think Gaudin and Mitre were better options than Chamberlain and Robertson. He is just putting the rest of his relief pitchers ahead of winning games. I don't mind not going all out for the division, but this team is in need of some wins.

The Yanks made the right decision letting go of Torre. I supported Girardi getting hired, but I thought he would actually be more of a tactitian who has a f***ing sense of urgency. But instead, we have this braced fool who looks like a 2 yr old in the dugout and manages like he's trying to win a f***ing popularity contest in the clubhouse

Then why play Swisher and Gardner at all? You have a basestealer with a bad wrist and a power hitter with a bad knee. If the goal is to stay healthy, then rest EVERYONE and make it clear you are going belly up. He half assed it tonight, which risked the health of the team and benefitted the Rays by not going for the throat

Don Mattingly probably would've done a better job as manager, at least this is the final year of Girardi's contract, he probably won't return unless they manage to win the World Series again.

I agree, it was terrible.

Considering the way they're hitting right now, the injuries, and the upcoming pitching match-ups, another sweet wouldn't surprise me in the least. This team is headed for the Wild Card (I hope).

Nova isn't getting the same zone as Garza. Pretty frustrating.

EDIT: Absolute garbage. Two pitches that Garza got called for strikes go for balls. Now he's in trouble.

there will be no sweating. The sox are done

if they sox are 5 games back with 6 games left to play against the yankees you'll be sweating, even if you're too childish to admit it

I would be thrilled if the Yankees are five games up on the Red Sox when they start their first series.
