It's s*** like this that makes everyone outside of New York hate the Yankees.

Are you serious? Yankees are adored world wide, even Tom Brady and Lebron James are Yankees fans.

Too bad it wasn't Girardi who picked him, he was voted in on the players' ballot.

Girardi picked Sabathia, but since CC has to pitch 2 days later Pettite will almost certainly take his place.

A great example of biased scorekeeping from the Yankees. Completely bogus, really f***ed Morrow over there.

And how many errors should Adrian Beltre have?

That's at least the 2nd play in consecutive days that should have been an error, but instead helped the Yankee offensive statistics and hurt the Toronto pitching statistics. And it f***** over everyone who had Toronto pitching or faced Yankee offense in their leagues (cough) me (cough) (cough).

This play was worse though because even with the current (but flawed) rules, it should have been an error since Wise had touched it. In the other one, it didn't technically touch McDonald, so with the current rules, the refs made the right call, even though it's a horrible rule.

There are no actual rules, it's just typical that if the ball doesn't touch the outfielders glove, it's a hit. Fact is, if a fly ball isn't caught because of the sun, it is usually scored a hit, regardless of where the game is being played. Again, I agree with you, A-Rod's double and Gardner's home run both should have been scored errors, but it's just the way it has always been.

Not only did the players pick him, he received the third most votes from the players. He doesn't belong in the ASG, but don't put this on Girardi.

Adored world wide? That's a good one.

They have the most fans in the world for a baseball team and they have the most revenue. Therefore, they have more people paying money for their product and henceforth can be considered to be more popular. Wouldnt say adored, but definitely the most popular baseball team in the world

I hate to side with the devils on this one, but Jacko and Divinity are right. Around where I am, at least 80% of the baseball merchandise you will see if of the Yankees. Granted, I am the majority of the Red Sox fanbase over here, and I've gotten a few friends to support the Red Sox, but the only team people tend to talk about over here is the Yankees. Granted, they don't know that much about them, they just buy into the NY market.

And I've talked with friends in Japan, Australia, Brazil, Pakistan etc, and most of them have only heard of one MLB team, and that's the Yankees. The Yankees are the most popular team worldwide as people don't even know that other MLB teams exist.

Not to mention that popular American icons have made the NY logo fashionable so that people sport the gear without having anything to do with the team.

That is all he has to f***ing do. When Joba stops being a f***ing pussy and pounds the zone with that FB, he isnt hittable. When he gets behind and they can sit on a FB down the cock, he gets in trouble.

ARod goes yard after Tex gets hit. CC tried to give the game away in the 5th, but manned up against Barton, who has been thrown out of the game. Not sure what he's arguing about, the pitch looked good

CC has been successful tonight, but still his command leaves something to be desired. Once he starts hitting his spots on a more consistent basis, he's going to be very tough to beat.

the Red Sox are f***ed now

Jacko might come across as too much of a fanboy sometimes (and that statement might not be any different), but his point certainly has some merit. If Teixeira and A-Rod do start hitting, they should be in good shape.

What do the Red Sox have to do with this? You're making unnecessary comparisons that aren't relevant to the conversation.

Jacko comments is implying that the Yankee's will run away with the division, including the Red Sox

For starters, you're placing that implication there. This is the internet, where we only see text on a screen. Take comments at face value. Second, my statement (which began our conversation), very clearly only referred to Jacko's point that the Yankees will be in good shape if Teixeira and A-Rod started hitting. That point has absolutely nothing to do with the Red Sox.

I never said the Yankees were running away with the division. Only that I am not worried about the Red Sox in the regular season. I have said multiple times that the Yankees WILL make the playoffs and the sox WILL win 90-95 games. I happen to believe that the Yankees will win the division and the sox will win the WC, but with TB starting to rev it back into gear and the sox becoming the walking wounded, that may not be the case. Regardless, the Yankees are 4 games up in the L column on a playoff spot and are 2 games up in the division. Also, watch out, the Twins are only 3 games back of the sox. A rough couple weeks due to injury and the sox could be chasing 2 teams in the WC race

AJ really getting squeezed.

EDIT: Way too many changeups.

EDIT 2: Between the HP umpire, and the bloops, AJ has been extremely unlucky this inning.
