I took Andrew Bailey. Gonna be honest. I see picking a BP as very problematic. As do most real GM's. It's a high turn over rate except for the upper tier RP. I don't know a whole lot about who is left out there' date=' But I read about Bailey and watched some games and he seems like a guy that could be good for the next few years. I'll be interested to hear what you all think.[/quote']

Andrew Bailey has already been picked, sir.

Had my eye on Perez. I think that's a good pick.

Yup, that gives me 4 power arms in my bullpen who are all capable of throwing strikes and also have quality breaking stuff.

I took Ramon Troncoso. He was another guy I read about and watched a little of. Like my non Bailey pick, I'm anxious to get some outside feed back. The guy has a sinker that averages 92MPH. He's a groundball pitcher. So I figured that can't bee too bad to have in the BP.

I stuck with the pick I jumped the gun on. Hiroki Kuroda is a fine pitcher and is following up a good first campaign with, so far, an even better season. I am going to treat him like DipreG treats Torii Hunter. Count on him to cover for a pitching prospect until that prospect is fullly ready, then activate the prospect.

Greinke, Shields, Zambrano, Kuroda, Bush should put me squarely in the top half of AFL rotations

So Spudboy scared me enough to where I went over to nearby Barrington for a walk-in appointment.

I tell them my symptoms, and the dude starts washing out my ear (with a syringe). The first couple of squirts bought nothing. On the third one, out comes a literal stone of ear wax that had been blocking my entire ear drum, as well as yellowish water, so a bunch more must have dissolved in it. Apparently the blood was a result of me irritating the roof of my ear canal with q-tips. My ear still aches a little bit, but that indeed was a surreal experience.

The only reason i picked Perez over him is because of the manager Troncoso plays for.

This crossed my mind, but in then end I need to start a BP somewhere. And he seemed like a good place to start.

Sorry to alarm you. I'm glad that you went to see a Doctor. I hope you don't have any other problems. Ear problems suck and can be dangerous being so close to the brain and central nervous system.

Yeah, as a kid I used to have an annual ear infection. They're no fun *at all.* Better to get that crap cleaned out any way you can than take risks with your hearing, balance and coordination.

My mother got an ear infection and woke up one morning (as a kid) with a bloodstain on her pillow. Her hearing has never been the same since and actual ability to hear is only the half of it. I have a powerful voice, and when I talk to her, if I'm not careful, she spends a lot of time wincing.

But my softspoken brother has it worse. There's a range of sound Mom can't hear partly thanks to that infection. His voice falls SQUARELY within that range. There's days she barely realizes he's talking at all. Talk about all kinds of awkward.

And she gets these times where her damaged ear gets shut off by a buildup of something or other, which is what reminded me of this. Spudboy is right that even if it was actually just a pile of earwax crap it could have been a ton worse.

Executive decision (because I love them so).

Once msu picks, the window is once again going to be shrunk to 12 hours on weekdays, 24 on weekends.

The clock will pause from the hours of 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM as most normal humans are asleep at that time.

For example, if a pick is made at 11:00 PM on a weekday, the next individual has until 5 PM the next day to make their selection (1 hour from 11-12, 11 hours from 6 AM - 5 PM).

The middle of this draft has made it drag a bit too much for my liking.

Since I am 6 hours ahead, if my pick fall between those time restraints, can I make my picks? If not no worries, just curious.

You can make your picks whenever you wish, just be aware that the clock is frozen during that time.
