I remember being told by a buddy of mine who got to see Pedro pitch for the Philly brass that he looked "fantastic" and that he even "hit 94 a couple times".

I was laughed at.

Well, the man has hit 92 three times and 93 once.

Crow.

It is to be eaten.

Well he did hit 93-94 in the WBC didn't he?

Oh' date=' but it was pretty consistent though. Regardless, this is the best he has looked since early parts of 2006, IMO.[/quote']

Rest can work wonders.

The Cubs fan who threw something down on Shane while Shane was catching a ball near the wall....way to be classy, dude, really.<_>

I really hope the guy who soiled himself over not getting autographs got a chance to see that display in CF that just happened at Wrigley. There's little wonder the players don't bend over backwards to make fans happy. There's a large number that show up every game that are mega-douches like that guy that tossed the beer.

I dont want to make generalizations but there is a good portion of Philly's fanbase that are dicks and dont respect the game as a whole and those type of fans are a real cancerous sore on the game.

That was a Cubs fan who threw, right? I was watching on split screen and hence everything is a bit small...I didn't realize it was a beer, either. That could have really hurt someone.

Edit: Double-checked...yeah, Cubs. Plus, I'm an idiot re: the beer danger. I thought it might actually be a bottle.

Pedro looked good without obviously the old shock and awe. Good solid start for him and the Phillies are about to win this one (12-3) more than likely.

meh I dont have much love for either team really but I love the Phil's infield' date=' J-Roll and ChUtley are awesome.[/quote']

I simply do not like the Dodgers. :D

I might like one of their players once in a while (like pitcher Orel way back when) and/or respect a certain year's team, but for me they're a bit like the N. California Yankees. I don't want them to win. Ever.

really? I have a great deal of respect for Torre especially now that he left the Yanks and I cannot make myself hate Manny he just did too much for this team for me to hate him.

The Dodgers left Brooklyn for dead. Their stadium could blow up and I wouldn't care.

Hitting:
