LOL @ Oliver Perez for the mets

couldn't get out of the first inning , allows 2 3run shot and goes 3-0 on Pedro and gets pulled

Oliver Perez's line today: 0.2 IP, 4 H, 6 ER, 2 BB, 2 HR, 0 K

Money well spent.

f*** !

I knew I shouldn't of started pedro in my fantasy team

its gona cost me big time

Smoltz single handedly knocked me out of a money slot in one league.

well actually he fisnished the game strong by retiring 9 of the next 10 batters

and finished with 6IP 7H 4ER 1BB 5K

not a great outing but still not to bad

With the SF Giants actually having a shot at the NL wild card, last night was disappointing.

I'm still dreaming of a redsox/giants WS so I can go to a game. That would be so awesome. Someday.

His velocity was consistent at 90-91. He hasn't ben there in more than 2 years. His command was inconsistent. That should come.

The Mets game ended with Eric Bruntlett turning an unassisted triple play with the tying runs on base. The Phillies started the inning with two erros and a hit. The hit could easily have been scored an error. Just when it looked like luck might have finally been on the side of the Mets, they start their runners and hit into the unassisted triple play.

Absolutely ridiculous. He basically makes 2 errors in the inning and then turns a triple play by himself.

Good to see Smoltz pitching a gem for St. Louis. 5 innings 0 runs 3 hits 9 k's. Granted he is pitching against San Diego.

It is good. He's back where he belongs, in the NL. Kick ass Smoltzy.

The Rockies will win the Wild Card, you heathen.

I want the Giants to win the WC so Lincecum and Cain get some playoff time. That would be an unbelievable playoff rotation.

I really want that to happen too.

C Lee pitching another gem

he has a 0.68ERA since being traded

Tell that to a700.

He argues the NL is not inferior to the AL.

I said that the talent gap is less, not that it is gone. Also, Lee has the advantafge of going around the league for the first time. Next year, he will not be as fortunate.

But still, even if he's not known, he went from a semi-neutral ballpark to a launching pad.

Wow! Spilborghs just hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 14th after Colorado fell behind 4-1 in the top of the inning. Their WC lead over San Francisco is now at 4 ... SF was 3 outs away from having at 2. That sucks.

No it doesn't shut up.

Yes it does suck, sir, and them's fighting words. Meet you in the back alley.

Yesterday's game was at CitiField, which is far from a launching pad.
