SFoC, this is devastating news. Im sure im not alone when I say this, but it is unfortunate, how a man as generous as yourself (giving away all those tickets back in Late-August/Early September) could be dealt such an unfortunate blow. You are in my prayers, and we all wish you the best. You have been a pleasure to talk baseball with here on this board, and you will be missed if you do in fact leave us. Good luck, and stay strong.

I don't know you at all, I haven't ever had the oppurtunity to talk to you unfortunetly, but man, keep you're head up, stay positive, never let yourself think there isn't hope because they're always is. Find a way man, there always is one. I hope things end up o.k.

I'm sorry, man. Get well.

I'm going to kick your ass if you're lying, (There was a guy at another message board I used to go to who lied about cancer and got all of our sympathy and, in some cases, donations) but if you're not, wow, man.

I'm new to this board, and this is really devastating. Tell me if there's anything I can do for you.

I'm really sorry man, but don't give up. I don't know what type of cancer you have but my father survived advanced cancer in his colon last year, so don't count yourself out. The most important thing is to just stay positive. I don't really know what I could do, but if there's anything I can do please let me know. Good luck man ... just know that you can get through this.

Yea, I want to echo what Hammer said. My mom beat Cancer a couple of years ago, you have to think you can beat it. I wish you the best, just fight this thing and dont give up.

You have everyones support here, including mine. It IS beatable. Look at Lance Armstrong, he beat it and is living a GREAT life (at least I think...) Stay strong and keep fighting, you're in my prayers and everyones.

I'm not sure what kind of cancer we are talking about but.....my father recently beat brain cancer. Had a type 3 brain tumor and was able to overcome all obstacles and will live a full healthy life. That is if he doesn't kill himself playing hockey at age 56.

Boston is tops in overall cancer treatment. It can be beaten and the best way to beat it is to believe. stay strong!

Just remember that a lot people will remember what you did for them and the site. Fight it for as long as you can. You can do it.

Oh wow. I guess a lot of the things you said last night make sense now. Keep fighting it man, and know that all our prayers are with you.

I hate to see this happen to anyone, let alone someone as generous as yourself. Stay strong, man -- you've got the support of this entire forum.

My prayers are with you Sox fan. I've lost a good friend to cancer recently and I'll always regret I put off contacting him one last time until it was too late.

Don't give up.

If you don't want to get into specifics, believe me we understand. However if you don't mind shedding a little more light I'm sure we'd all like to know what's going on. Best of luck my friend.
