  1. Intresting David Justice is on is on Yankees Hot Stove.
  2. Is it really a sad day in the Bronx when Denny Negale gets busted for roids? A devesting blow to New York would have been if Derek Jeter was linked to roids. Not Kevin Brown (who I have hated for a very long time) or Jason Grimsley.
  3. I'm not hurt at all. There have been wispers about Clemens for years so thats no shock and really Pettitte doesnt suprise me either. Both are pals. I think this report has pretty much been regurgitation of information we have heard before.
  4. Yea the Varitek thing blows that out of the water. I believe he did it the right way in the end.
  5. Nah, I dont but I hate even having that idea in my head. They could have selected someone better. But I believe that he did this the right way. At the very least I hope.
  6. I dont like investigations like this being led by someone who has attachments within the game.
  7. I have no idea however I am a little annoyed they picked someone who has a connection to an organization already. BTW is anyone really shocked about Clemens?
  8. I think the Red Sox have accomplished enough here. The Yankees didnt get Santana. The end.
  9. The only affect that trade might have had on the Santana deal is maybe the Twins feel they should be getting much more from the Red Sox then they are. The Tigers gave up 2 big time prospects (It would be like you guys trading Buchholz and Ellsbury) plus 4 other players.
  10. I think the rumors from last night into this morning about the Red Sox is a ploy by the Twins. It was similar rumors that got the Yankees to include Hughes in the first place. If its true congrats you can have him. I'm already tired of the Santana crap now. Like you said Jack, if we can get Haren for Kennedy and CO I think I'd prefer that right now instead of giving up Hughes in a Santana deal.
  11. Hank really need to shut up.
  12. Awful trade they should have just kept him. Dont they have Estrada?
  13. Is Crisp really worth 10 mill over the next 2 years though? Your forgetting those players can actually hit. Comeon I mean who would you rather have Ellsbury or Crisp? I think the Red Sox are anwsering that question when they try to pawn Crisp off on the Twins instead of Ellsbury.
  14. I'd be stunned if you get Haren for Coco and a bag of balls. Bean loves a good shake down. I remember when the Yankees asked about Kotsay he wanted Hughes in return.
  15. So you actually think the fans are gonna ban together and boycott anything with A-Rod on it? Your kidding me right? When A-Rod joined the team in 2004 the attendence was alreay good but it jumped to 4 million. You think the fans arent gonna be into the whole chase for 762? You know fans are hypocrites. The first HR he hits this year everything will be ok, s*** he just resigned and I see everyone jumping back on the bandwagon. A-Rod will bring in so much revenue over his 10 years he will more than pay for himself.
  16. A-Rod still pisses me off but for you guys to talk about how much money the Yankees are spending here is laughable. A-Rod will pay for his own contract. The revenue he will bring in will be huge dont kid yourself.
  17. I think they are gonna give Betemit the job unless something logical comes up via trade. I wouldnt touch Crede and I have doubts about Rolen. Hes coming off a pretty s***** year.
  18. He never had any intention of coming back so why bother calling it home? Or saying how much he loves it here. I wish he would have asked to be traded after 2006. Im well aware its just a job (to these players) but dont smile at everyone and stab everyone in the back.
  19. This was after the Yankees clinched a playoff spot this year. “This feels like home. It’s hard to believe that I played for another two organizations. So much has happened to me here – adversity, some success – that I feel like anything but New York feels weird for me now.”-Alex Rodriguez Thats all you need to know
