    There is a reliever on the 40 man roster named brennen, I think. I got to see him pitch and it was god awful! How is he not a candidate to release?

    Hang’em Chaim spent the first part of his career here revamping the baseball analytics department. This past offseason we witnessed the success of that endeavor! To date, we have seen no evidence of any revamping or retooling or anything else to make the player development system better than it has been historically! Although I do want to point out that as far as producing hitters and relievers, I would put our system up against anybody else’s! If hang’em Chaim can get two solid starters out of this upcoming draft he will have surpassed most if not all of his predecessors!

    There was talk on the radio of hang’em chaim already having an “at or below slot deal with a less highly graded youngster for the first round” in order to have more money for later in the draft. I hope that is not true,

    Man, did dombrowski inherit a full cabinet or what? And yet we only got 1 worlds series title out of that turds time with us! Ouch!

    Maybe, but the fact remains, he has not played since going zero for six on Friday. Seems like something is not right with him.

    In the upcoming draft, we could have a chance to pick up one of the Vanderbilt pitchers in the first round and maybe get bednar of miss state in the second round. Those two pitchers should cruise through our system fairly quickly!

    Workman has decent numbers at triple a. I have not seen him live or seen velocity numbers however, so it is hard to tell if the numbers are real.

    Good news today: pitching was fantastic. Barnes made it interesting, but just a really good day for the throwers. I guess Miami’s hitters do not like 48 degree weather. Bad news today: Hernandez struggling to get the timing back!

    Looks like they called up brewer to replace fraunchy! He is one or two guys on the 40 man roster. I always thought brewer would get jettisoned when they put workmen on the 40 man roster.

    I would not mind seeing workman brought up to the majors after a couple more good innings of work at triple a! Andriese is running on empty and we never replaced Brice.

    I agree 100 percent. Bogey and devers are the cornerstones and hopefully we get back to having a productive farm system that can fill in the holes, (Although hang’em Chaim has found some decent fairly low cost free agents to help.)
