We have 3 prospects ranked in the top 100. And I can not see Hang’em Chaim dealing any of them. Thus do I think we are dealing in the tier 2 snd tier 3 trade front.

The Cubs job is to get maximum value for him. Hang’em Chaim’s job is to outbid other teams, while trying to convince the Cubs that Rizzo is worthless! The question we should be asking is how bad does hang’em Chaim want Rizzo?

Good news today: we scored 5 runs snd won with 4 of our position players hitting less than .245 and 3 hitting less than .200! Bad news today; pivetta did not make it through 5 innings.

Under the radar relievers that could appeal to us are Taylor Rogers of the twins or chris Stratton of the pirates.

In three out of the four games, the Yankees managed to keep us off the score board for the first half of the game and yet the Yankees lost all 3 of those games. The one game we scored early, the Yankees came back and won! Four come from behind victories in this series. But yet, I still wish we could jump Out to the early lead in every game!

Munoz got off to a horrible start this season, but has really been hitting the ball well lately and got his average up around .300. Not sure who gets punted off the 40 man to add him though? In two weeks or so, when same gets added, someone else gets punted off the 40 man. Hang’em Chaim has some tough decisions coming up. Maybe he could trade some guys to open up spots. The baseball analytics people have some long work days ahead of them this week figuring all this out.

I think this is spot on. Not all assets are in bloom’s long or medium term plans. I think he looks to unload those this year, if he can find a dance partner.

Hang’em Chaim is not going to be box specific. Chances are he is a buyer and a seller much like Tampa did last week. Whatever improves the team today snd tomorrow, he will do it.

I do not see hang’em Chaim being in on kimbrel. He had stated in several interviews about balancing today and tomorrow. He is definitely hunting under the radar guys with multiple years of team control. Those are very hard to find in season, but he did it successfully last year.
