  1. Good news today: our lineup, especially 2 through 6, can be lethal! Perez had another decent outing! Bad news today: with brice’s departure, we are down a pitcher!
  2. Good news today: we showed incredible heart and Martinez was clutch! Bad news today: the defense is getting scary!
  3. Agreed! But isn’t Barnes a free agent at the end of the year?
  4. Fans of teams in the al East are all different: Sox fans are passionate to the very edge! Some maybe over the edge! Yankees fans are generally undereducated band wagoners! They are only there for the good times. Toronto fans are only fans after hockey season ends for the leafs, (usually late may) Tampa has nearly no real fans. Baltimore fans are almost all over 80 years old and the population of then is drastically shrinking daily!
  5. Then the next question is who do we think could be available for trade and what assets do we have to trade?
  6. Good news today: we fell behind early and fought hard and had a chance to win! Bad news today: we need an 8th inning reliever. This ottavino is not the answer. This is the second time, we had to bring Barnes in for more than three outs and this time it backfired on us!
  7. Santana and downs with their first taters of the season tonight for Worcester. Reed and marrero with taters tonight for Greenville, reed is up to three on the year this far.
  8. Good news today: Perez threw a great game despite the walks. Offense started slow and heated up! Bad news today: Marwin remains a mystery.
  9. I do not think so. As the weather gets warmer, it will be interesting to see if consistently put more wood on pitches!
  10. I am hopeful we resign Rodriguez in the offseason! However, I am aware that a lot of teams will be gunning for him!
  11. Cordero’s confidence looks shot! Even as he steps to the plate, he looks completely clueless! Wouldn’t Santana be a better option for us?
  12. Good news today: pivetta with another impressive outing! Dalbec bails out to the bullpen! Bad news today: the Yankees won!
  13. Hart threw 6 no hit innings today! Congrats to him, ps: he did walk four today though!
  14. Good news today: eavoldi threw a very nice game! Bad news today; bullpen lost another game!
  15. I think they have to determine if there is a tear first. When I had my knee injury in college, I tore my acl, mcl, pcl and the patella tendon, they had to wait for the swelling to go down some before taking the pictures. But the pictures were definitive once they took them, Maybe that is what they are doing with houck!
  16. There is a difference between sucking and pressing!
  17. Good news today: Perez was pitching above his pay grade! Bad news today: we just could not solve Lopez! It wasn’t that Lopez had great stuff, it was more of him hitting his spots and we just could not square anything up. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to your opponent!
  18. When batters hit balls repeatedly to where the defenders are, good things tend to happen. But you are correct, it is not sustainable. However if he gets his walk rate under control and his tater rate stays low, his impressive run will continue!
  19. Do we know if it is a strain or is it a partial tear? I would hate to have houck in the denial zone that sale put us through for over a year!
  20. Good news today: pivetta throws a nice game, not sure how many people thought he would start the year 5 and 0 with a 3.19 era, but it can’t because many. Bad news today: after tomorrow, this year thus far we will have played 10 games against Baltimore and none against the Yankees?
  21. Good news today: our offense is awesome! Got a little help from the bottom third of the lineup today. Bad news today: Brice is still on the team. Come the trade deadline, we will need two more good relievers.
  22. Don’t we usually do bad against pitchers the first time we see them?
  23. Our pitchers are succeeding this season on mostly smoke and mirrors. At some point they are going to hit the wall and we will need reinforcements. I see three starter candidates: Sale Houck Whitlock (converted for a bit) For the bullpen: Bastardo Feldman Will hang’em Chaim try to trade for bullpen help?
  24. Doesn’t a good bit of money come off the books after this season? Hang’em Chaim should have some decent payroll flexibility this offseason. Thanks desperate Dave!!!
