What does Hang’em Chaim see in this Robles guy? What good is throwing hard when you can’t command it?

At what point do the training wheels come off houck?

I thought cassas started out the year hitting just fine. Then he went to the Olympic qualifier, where he still looked good. After he got back from that, however, his swing and timing were all messed up and stayed that way until he went back at the Olympics. The question is which cassas ends the year at Portland?
  4. Larry Cook
Neither! Guys that have missed as much time as schwaber will need time to get their timing back. Not sure he will be better than dalbec for the rest of this season.

Martinez bat speed appears slower than in April. He may be running out of juice for these last 60 games.
  6. Larry Cook
Does he have access to schwaber’s doctors?

This team is stretched thin. Injuries have forced us to play guys that are not ready/capable of contributing.

But are we still under the cbt?

The schwarber deal makes sense to me. The Chavis deal makes sense to me. The Robles deal makes me want to throw up!

Yes, single a pitcher, on the dl, but has a big arm.

    Schwaber for also Ramirez? Interesting.

I agree! In interviews hang’em Chaim has said that any deal is about today and tomorrow. But we do have injuries piling up and depth is being stretched perilously thin at the moment. Does hang’em Chaim make a bad big name short term deal this year, but put the rebuild back a couple years in the hopes we win this year? I do not see him doing it. But I do see a minor deal or two being done.

Maybe a whooping like this will get out guys to focus more going forward.

Schoop is a terrible defender though,

Is sale still set to be activated for the 10th?
  16. Larry Cook
I agree, he would look really good on the west coast!

And first base has been a black hole all year!

Vazquez has been looking really beat up and stiff lately. Maybe he needs to come down with a severe case of Fenway fever and gets 10 days to recover!

    Leiter signed with Texas!

We have 3 prospects ranked in the top 100. And I can not see Hang’em Chaim dealing any of them. Thus do I think we are dealing in the tier 2 snd tier 3 trade front.

Giants are having an amazing year! Wow!

And Baltimore took a loss today as well!

We need to rest bogey and get him back to 100 percent. He and devers are the engine that make our offense go.

The Cubs job is to get maximum value for him. Hang’em Chaim’s job is to outbid other teams, while trying to convince the Cubs that Rizzo is worthless! The question we should be asking is how bad does hang’em Chaim want Rizzo?

Good news today: we scored 5 runs snd won with 4 of our position players hitting less than .245 and 3 hitting less than .200! Bad news today; pivetta did not make it through 5 innings.
