  1. I agree. I am concerned about how Hernandez stuff will play in New York.
  2. The three players to be named later are all mid level prospects, but hang’em Chaim appears to have used two of them as boom or bust prospects and the third guy as organizational pitching depth!
  3. How weird is baseball? Fraunchy gets hot and Winckowski goes cold at Portland!
  4. I have no problem trading Barnes next month, if we can get a solid starting pitching prospect for him, Add that guy to (hopefully) two potential starters in this draft (rocker and bednar) and we cooking with gas!!!
  5. Good news today: pitching was outstanding. Devers goes deep! Bad news today: marwin is a menace in the field.
  6. Is it time to send dalbec back to triple a? Santana and Marwin are not contributing much either!
  7. Hang’em Chaim moving decisively! You gotta live that!
  8. Good news today: the big 4 came out of the deep freeze! Perez was spectacular! Bad news today: that 2-1 defeat yesterday still stings!
  9. Amen brother! Great observation!
  10. There is a reliever on the 40 man roster named brennen, I think. I got to see him pitch and it was god awful! How is he not a candidate to release?
  11. Wonder why hang’em Chaim did not take a chance on starting pitcher gibson?
  12. Hang’em Chaim spent the first part of his career here revamping the baseball analytics department. This past offseason we witnessed the success of that endeavor! To date, we have seen no evidence of any revamping or retooling or anything else to make the player development system better than it has been historically! Although I do want to point out that as far as producing hitters and relievers, I would put our system up against anybody else’s! If hang’em Chaim can get two solid starters out of this upcoming draft he will have surpassed most if not all of his predecessors!
  13. A few weeks on the dl might be needed to get Rodriguez right. Brewer needs a new address in a different organization ,
  14. Pesky rays pitching has been getting better! As long as the pitching holds out, wins will keep coming!
  15. Allergic to “zero for X number of at bats”.
  16. Good news today: no rain delay! Bad news today: no rain delay!
  17. A couple more days like this and he should have some serious trade value!
  18. There was talk on the radio of hang’em chaim already having an “at or below slot deal with a less highly graded youngster for the first round” in order to have more money for later in the draft. I hope that is not true,
  19. Man, did dombrowski inherit a full cabinet or what? And yet we only got 1 worlds series title out of that turds time with us! Ouch!
  20. Maybe, but the fact remains, he has not played since going zero for six on Friday. Seems like something is not right with him.
  21. In the upcoming draft, we could have a chance to pick up one of the Vanderbilt pitchers in the first round and maybe get bednar of miss state in the second round. Those two pitchers should cruise through our system fairly quickly!
  22. Workman has decent numbers at triple a. I have not seen him live or seen velocity numbers however, so it is hard to tell if the numbers are real.
  23. Health is always key to every season, and we do have a stud starter that may be available in a few months!
  24. Did they rush him back from his injury?
  25. Good news today: pitching was fantastic. Barnes made it interesting, but just a really good day for the throwers. I guess Miami’s hitters do not like 48 degree weather. Bad news today: Hernandez struggling to get the timing back!
