    When sale returns, someone goes to the bullpen and we get to jettison Rios. We are still left with andriese and workman. I think Hang’em Chaim can upgrade two spots in the bullpen without sacrificing the present or future.

    I do not see hang’em Chaim being foolish with second contracts, unless they are organizational cornerstones, like bogey and devers! I think he lets other teams over pay for less than the best or promotes guys from our minor league system that do he can get most of the production back. Ps: Betts (an organizational cornerstone) was an exception because desperate Dave screwed us up on the luxury tax!

    Maybe Hang’em Chaim can package Cordero, potts and andriese to some unsuspecting team for an 18 year old pitcher no one has ever heard of!

    Didn’t the Steinbrenner’s shipping company just sign a huge new multimillion dollar international contract? Do they still own that company? Hal is probably celebrating the fortune they are going to make on that deal and might not be sweating the Yankees at this particular time!

    Maybe our new strategy for “developing” pitching is signing/grabbing it from other teams. Could he why our 2020 and 2021 drafts were a bunch of positions guys and a bunch of relievers and really only one or two real starters!

    To that end, I think Hang’em Chaim needs to give, whoever it was in the baseball analytics department that said we need to take Whitlock in the rule 5 draft, a huge raise! That guy wins find of the year.

    Good news today: pitching was outstanding! Rodriguez, aka the yankee killer, was awesome! Houck had a magnificent return. Bad news today: verdugo still struggling!

    Fortunately hang’em Chaim is too busy killing the draft to give up on dalbec….aka big wind maker!

    We could still use the trade deadline to acquire two quality relievers. We have a quality starter coming back in august.
