I agree, but Story could always be traded.

It’s early in the season, but it sure looks like it at the moment. I said Story would help this year, but he’ll never fill Bogey’s shoes.

He’s won only 60+ games in his career with a high of 14, and even though I like Evol he’s not worth a big extension. Bogey has 2 WS rings, and he’s the leader in the clubhouse, and the field, so his presence is worth more than Evol, and deserves to be paid first.

I’ve been saying for awhile now that I have these recurring nightmares of seeing Bogey, or Raffy in Yankee Pinstripes.Even worse seeing both.

NESN rating were down last year too until the end of the year, and I liked Scully too. Back in the day you could pick up lots of the baseball markets on the old AM transistor and listen to the Ernie Harwells,and Bob Princes and many other great announcers back then.

Betts was no $30M man last year in the first year of his deal, and I don’t believe no one is worth an open checkbook. Even Raffy.

Why would his extension if there is one not start in 2023? If there is going to be one there is no need to wait any longer.

I think Tony Mass does a good job, but if he is unwatchable to you OB is to me. He is no Donny O.

It’s not just Tony Mass who is saying it, and if you go out on the many venues that I do you don’t get all the I trust Bloom, and Cora, and they know what they are doing that you get on here. Lots of anger, and frustration, and blame, and at this point the Red Sox deserve all of it.

At present time in the famous words of Tony Mass the Red Sox Blow, and Suck. After 31 games the Red Sox are 9 games under 500. I repeat 9 games under 500. and some are worried about a possible playoff spot. If this team ever gets to just playing 500 ball, which at this point doesn’t look to promising then I’ll start to think about playoffs. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? One more time 9 games under 500, and this team has been listless since opening day, and yes there is plenty of blame to go around starting at the top with JH, Bloom, and Cora, and down to the players.

Right now the only team the Red Sox have to worry about is the O’s who won again today, because if they can’t get by the O’s I’ll give them 0%.
