    1. Cora came out, and said before the season even started, that Story would not be playing SS when Bogey didn’t, so don’t look at others playing SS as meaning anything. If Bogey isn’t resigned it remains to be seen who goes to SS, or 2B. 2. Dugo needs to go back to LF, and a RF would be more of a priority.

    2-5-10 2 games under 500 5 games back in the L column for last place in the Div. 10 games back in the L column for last Wild Card spot. Just can’t get back to 500, or beat the Div teams. 4 game sweep of Texas was nice, but back to reality we go, and most likely stay there the rest of the season. Pretty pathetic.

    Yes he had a little power surge when he came back up just like he did the first time, but 1-12 with 8 k’s in his last 12 AB is almost like him striking out 15 out of 16 his last time around . Arroyo should be in the line up, or DH. Franchy should not, and he not a good OF either.

    I get Arroyo DH for JD, but the only place Franchy should be playing is back in Worcester with Duran. Franchy sucks on D, and can’t hit either. Bad move by Cora to play him.

    I’ve given my reasons plenty of times, and like I said this subject has been hashed over 10,000 times already. Either your with him, or your against him, and nobody is changing anyones mind.

    Who started it? Yes you are exaggerating. Who said to fire Bloom, because he hasn’t won a WS yet?

    All we have to do is not make the playoffs, and we have a slight chance to get one of the first 6 picks.

    The first 6 picks will be determined by the lottery with all non playoff teams involved with the worse record having better odds, and so on I believe. The team with the best record of all the non playoff teams could still get the #1 pick, but just not very good odds of doing so. The team with the worst record could do no worse than 7th.

    I don’t think not winning a WS was a complaint, but being in last place in the Div with a LOSING record was. As usual a little exaggeration goes a long way.

    Isn’t there a draft lottery this year, so it’s not as easy for getting a better draft pick now.

    I don’t see Casas being traded anywhere in the foreseeable future. All the speculations on what Bloom is going to do on here is good reading, and some good acquisitions mentioned at that, but I think the two biggest questions have to be answered 1st, and that’s Bogey, and Raffy. If you can’t sign Raffy after this year do you trade him, or just let him play out his last year. Either money locked up, or money to spend.

    Pretty bad to be tanking after spending $500M on two players this past off season. Having lots of money to spend does not always lead to success.

    They swept a bad team, which is better than losing to a bad team, but let’s see how they do back to playing the Div again, which has been a bugaboo all year. Take 4 out of 6 on this trip, and you’ve got something to talk about. Late to the party, but better to be late than not showing up all year.

    Agree 100% on that. Alabama is more professional than some NFL teams.
