It’s like you before last season started came to what you thought was an astute observation, and diagnosis that Bogey would be playing under much mental stress this past year, because playing along side Story when Bogey knew Story was a better defensive shortstop than he was. I don’t think Bogey thought that at all, but that’s what you come out with. Simple thoughts? You mean like you talking about ERod being in a mental institution. That showed what you are all about, so yes you proved that words do matter. Simple is as simple does.

I know you can’t help it, but You think you have to not just analyze, but micro analyze every word written on here, and when you do it doesn’t matter if what you come up with is right, or wrong. Imagine that you think you are so good at it that you can tell someone what they think better than they can. It’s not a gift at all for you, or anybody else. If you need a depth chart then good for you, but i don’t.

The biggest thing you are extreme about is your constant over analyzing, and getting things wrong like your coming to a conclusion that I hated Cora. You were wrong then, and have been ever since. You interpret words, and turn it into something that fits what ever narrative you want to go on at the time, and the accuracy to you doesn’t matter at all. If I’ve got some to say I’m not afraid to say it, so I don’t have to walk anything back. Come on man!

Attendance was the lowest last year since JH took over, so it will be interesting to see how the fans turn out in 2023.

I said last year that Jansen, and Bard would have been better options than what they had, but of course you disagreed. Watching the games especially early in the season was reality enough for me, and confirmed my suspicion. You watching the games, and coming to a different conclusion is not surprising at all.

That is comforting to know that Bloom has something etched in his brain. Must have had JBJ etched in his brain last year, because of the depth chart.

I said Kike, and Story could cover 3 positions? I also fully understand that if Kike comes into the IF where he would rather be that would mean the Red Sox would need 2 OF instead of 1. That is common sense. If Bloom is as good as you think he is he should be able via either trade or FA be able to handle that. You make it sound like it would be harder to get another OF than to get another SS. It’s not a question of accepting your opinion, but just disagreeing with it.

Once again wrong again on your extreme scenario. I said that when you had your Jeter Downs, Duran, and the ref man scenario, and not your BP need. Get it right for once. Like I said you lead the league in scenarios, but are batting under 200 in doing so. At least you lead the league though. CONGRATS. Once again it wasn’t your opinion I said was extreme, but your scenario. Over analyzing got you being wrong again.

I don’t think Bloom is pouring over the depth chart, and thinking if Bogey leaves we have to get someone other than Jeter Downs to take his place. If he is Bloom is even worse off than I thought. Who said anything about Kike, and Story having to cover 3 positions? No one did just your take on things. If you read the article on yahoo/ sports they talk about the 2B/ SS possibilities.

Once again much to your chagrin I don’t have to do anything, but have an opinion, and if you don’t like that opinion TDB. You can worry about the budget all you want, and you do, and so do others, but I don’t have to, and I don’t, and you can’t convince me I have to, and that’s the bottom line CSCSS.

Actions speak louder than words, and I’ve been saying that since the Red Sox made the offer to Bogey last offseason. The SS market may be robust, but will the Red Sox spend the money to get one?

Who said anything about blowing the cap up every year? No one did. I just say I don’t care if it was. What may be illogical to you, and I’m just not just talking about this subject might not be illogical to others, and that works both ways.

I’m not into assumptions there are plenty of others who like to do that. I don’t think Bogey will be back, but outside of that I’m not assuming, and the Red Sox have been quiet on the subject.

Who said anything about not watching, or paying to go to games? What I said was fans have to do that, which is different than working for someone where they don’t. I’ve always seen the logic in not paying tax, or high payrolls, but like I’ve said many times I just don’t care. There are plenty of others who care about that, and like it, or not I don’t.

Where does it say I assumed? The assumption has been on here that Story will play 2B, and the Red Sox will sign a SS, so ding, ding,ding, ding, ding all I said was I haven’t heard Cora, or Bloom say Story would be staying at 2B. Who would play 2B would be determined later just like who would be playing SS. The Rangers signed 2 SS last year, so who knows, but no assumption was made by me, but raised a question.
