  1. The worst part last night was 18 yds on 11 carries. His legs has to be part of his game.
  2. Great play by Story, but you probably won’t see plays like that next year with the new shift rules.
  3. Like Casas today. Finally.
  4. I like Story Land, but he needs to make more contact than he does. If he didn’t have so many K’s his stats would be even better.
  5. Obviously he didn’t get a long term contract to his liking last year, and who’s to say he will after this year.
  6. Judge with #53 today. Wow!
  7. Correa will not be coming to Boston except to play against the Red Sox.
  8. I just hate to have less games played against the Yankees.
  9. Exaggeration seems to run in the family sometimes.
  10. That’s a strong possibility. I think he will be good, but not quite as dominant as last year when he was used mostly 2-3 days between appearances, and only 73 innings.
  11. My guess he will relieve, and I don’t think it will have anything to do with Houck. Time will tell.
  12. But you have to have some kind of a plan to begin with. 2018 ended up bad, but there was a plan to start the season. 2021 there was a plan to start with, but Barnes s*** the bed. This year Bloom had no plan.
  13. I think it’s pretty clear to me that the BP is the biggest need just like it was this year.
  14. If it’s the grumpy guys who call in to open mouth shows, what are the grumpy guys who reside on here? Do you think what is said on here is a good representation of Red Sox Nation?
  15. Just playing Minnesota recently was proof of that.
  16. Everyone one used to go more innings. Starters used to pitch every 4th day, and there were no worries about pitch counts, innings pitched, and certainly no 3 times through the order stuff. Seems there were less arm troubles too.
  17. What a waste of an arm for a long time.
  18. Exactly, and a 100 times over.
  19. At least the Rockies have a pretty good closer this year. I know you’ve heard of him.
  20. They started out with a good closer last year, but then Barnes went into the crapper, so last year there was a plan. This year not so much.
  21. It showed.
  22. Why would I goggle it? In my 60+ years of watching MLB I have NEVER heard the term used, or read it anywhere either in many of the sports publications I’ve read. Use all you want no problem, but I’ll stick to other terms.
  23. Injuries played a part, but there was no plan for the backend of the BP to start the season. Whitlock tried to get a 4 inning save on opening day. Was Barnes, and Robles the plan to close?
