NNN. I clearly get how hypotheticals work, and it’s still a moot point. Fred has a good point, but not a good plan, as more visiting teams fans would just take up the slack.
  2. Old Red
Let’s NOT say attendance dipped significantly the rest of the season. Tickets for the most part has already been sold. Moot point.🙈

Ah the picture of Sam, and JH holding up the wall in the Red SOX clubhouse in Baltimore as Brez addresses the ball club after the Cora firing comes more into focus everyday. The Three Stooges at work. If only this mess was only a movie.

    👏

I know it looked bad how things ended up last night, but only scoring 2 messily runs in Coors Field against that pitching was an issue too.

And take out The Great Gasper?🤔
  7. Old Red
No he won’t stay this hot, but as bad as he started out it makes him look even better today.
  8. Old Red
Yes he had a hot stretch in May, but 11-72 in June with 27K’S. He has hit most of his HR batting leadoff if that makes a difference.
  9. Old Red
Sounds easy for some, but Brez?

The Sea Dogs jingle is baseball the way it should be. The Red Sox jingle is baseball the way it shouldn’t be.
  11. Old Red
Looks like a completely different player with the bat. If he had of started out the season like he is now a certain poster wouldn’t have called him DUBin.🤫
  12. Old Red
That’s why I’ve heard some fans say that want the Red Sox to lose, because of JH, Sam, and Brez.
  13. Old Red
It would have been better if these were the holdovers, and not the additions.🤔
  14. Old Red
Agree with that, and as I said the other day the Red Sox are doing the Limbo Rock, and it’s just a question of how low can they go. It can’t get much lower. They are tied with the fewest wins, but give credit where credit is due that those two other teams have played a few more games.
  15. Old Red
NO! This is a team that’s 14 games under 500.🙈
  16. Old Red
No one could have drawn up the 8th, and 9th innings last night, but even then the Red Sox could only muster 2 runs against the Rockies CY Staff. Whitlock, and Chapman looked like they were throwing batting practice last night.🤮
  17. Old Red
19 pitches. 8 straight hits. 3 runs, which should have been more if not for bad base running between Whit, and CHAPman.🤭🙈🤮!

Yabba dabba doo Flintstone Schwaber would have added some too. As someone has said you are what your record says you are. It doesn’t matter all the whys, and why nots.
  19. Old Red
    Or at least should be.

Well said. I don’t know if the Red Sox actually thought KC was ready, but the Red Sox needed a 2B after going through a revolving door the year before of 11 2B, so they gave him a shot. After a good first month it’s been all downhill ever since, and at the moment he looks more, and more like a lost cause, and there is probably more than 1 issue that’s causing it both physically, and emotionally. He seemed like a nice kid, so hopefully he gets back to being at least respectable.
  21. Old Red
Seems that his old swing was at least working better than whatever he’s doing now.
  22. Old Red
If he was good enough to sail through the minors, and get to Boston why try to change things. He’s regressed this year from last year at Woo not to mention Boston.
  23. Old Red
    Ah the glass1/4 full.
  24. Old Red
After 75 games the Boston RedWOO Sox are slogging along with 31-44 record in a weak watered down league. Only 5 games back from a wildcard berth, and the RW Sox would only have to climb over 7 teams to get there. On the bright side the boys in Red will only have to go 50-37 the rest of the way to stop from being called a losing team, and remember there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home where the Boys of summer are sporting a 12-25 record at the not so friendly Fenway. AWESOME!👏

Can’t be offended when ILMO. You’re just assuming, because he’s sucking so bad the Red Sox are doing something with him. If anything it’s messing him up more than anything, and definitely not doing the kid any good.👋
