  1. I don’t either, but it was a headline.
  2. Sam said Boston would be the place where everyone would want to be. How accurate was that?
  3. If he was following along he would have already known the names. There was a running count at the time. Like I’ve asked of all things why question this?
  4. I’ve given articles, so why don’t you go read them like the Boston Herald on 10-20-2023?
  5. A article in the Boston Herald 10-20-2023 that the number of candidates refusing an interview has now reached double digits. A can’t believe of all things this is being questioned? Wow! For what purpose?
  6. Are you disputing the number 10? It was kept track of as it went along. Look at the reports. There are plenty of them out there.
  7. List them? Really? Did you think this was made up. It was talked about all over the place at the time. It was talked about on MLB network, and it was talked about on ESPN just to name two of many places. The Red Sox were a laughing stock all throughout MLB. List them? Really?🙈🤭
  8. You fool! You bought in last year with your 84 wins prediction, and you bought in this year with full throttle. You were all excited with the Red Sox meeting with the Yam Man like they had a snowballs chance in hell of landing him either paying the price, or outbidding the others.
  9. Your thinking, and predictions has always been wrong, and I don’t see any reason for that to change now.
  10. Nobody has a clue what any of the starting rotation are going to do this year based on last year, or the year before that, or the year before that. Let’s just see what happens.
  11. You list them. They are there in a report from WBZ news 10-20-2023.🙈🤭
  12. If the Red Sox suck like the 2020 team I’ll be on board with the T&F, but I’m not going to panic before the season even starts.
  13. I wasn’t implying they should stop drafting pitchers, but just pointing out some they had drafted didn’t work out. Bard, and Barnes didn’t work out as SP either.
  14. Remember 10+ candidates made their search easier when they said thanks, but no thanks.
  15. I guess I’m as not all up in arms, because not much has been done transition wise, because i didn’t expect it in the first place. We don’t know for sure what the main reason was that Bloom got fired, but just, because he was and an exhausted search was done to replace him, and just, because Tom said full throttle didn’t mean to me all of a sudden the Red Sox were going to be big spenders again. I didn’t expect the Yam Man, Monty, or Snell in the rotation as it appears many did. It’s still not Mar 28th, and the season hasn’t even started yet, but most on here have written the Red Sox off already.
  16. They did draft Ball, and Groome, but neither worked out.
  17. Are those whispers you think you hear just in your head, because JH probably has earplugs in.
  18. Woe is me. Sham, sham, sham! Maybe the Red Sox should just sit out this year since most everyone has them dead, and buried anyway.
  19. I asked this question yesterday. How do you feel getting called out by Sam at Winter Weekend, and calling you a liar for not believing in ownership?
  20. Don’t mention the word opener. We saw way too much of that last year. Seems like the Bern Man was starting every other day.
  21. I guess The Kut Man will have to do a better job in the rotation, so that doesn’t happen.
  22. I believe Crawford only started in the rotation, because some of the other starters weren’t ready at the start of the season. As it turned out though he was definitely a better option than Kluber.
  23. True, and it just like when the Red Sox were counting on their injured starters coming back last year like they were going to pick up where they left off. It takes time, and buildup.
  24. From what’s been reported Crawford at the moment has been penciled into the rotation, and Wink, Whit, and Houck will battle for the 5th spot. No matter how it works out there are more than enough arms for the pen. I’ve been saying for 2 years that Whit, and Houck should stay in the pen unless needed, which will most likely will happen at some point.
  25. They have enough arms in the pen with, or without Crawford in it. Rotation is where they need the most help, and whomever out of Kut Man, Wink, Houck, and Whit should be in it. The value needs to be in the rotation.
