    Well at least he’s only getting $1M this year, so hopefully he grows up, and gets better down the road when the money starts getting higher.

    Sell, Sell, Sell! Sell while the team is floundering, and some are riding high. Jansen, Martin, Pivetta, DHam, and even Duran. Sell em while the going is good. Seems I heard many times this past offseason this year was going to be a Sham, Sham, Sham, so sell, and get back some of those precious prospects that everyone has been clamoring for the last three years.

    Devers in some fans eyes can go from Devers Forever to Never Devers from game to game, and sometimes pitch to pitch. Some just don’t get that point.

    Forget about it upsetting those crybaby fans as you call them, but MORE importantly it would upset, and piss off the players in that clubhouse.

    Exactly, and one size doesn’t fit all. It Sale would have stayed he would have pitched the same way he has always pitched, and the same way he is pitching in Atlanta.🤭🙈

    Yes, but still paying $17M for Sale, and signing Gio for $38M, which probably wouldn’t have been done without freeing up that $10M for Sale turned out to be an expensive roll of that dice.

    I sure JH is thrilled to death of having to pay $17M to the Braves for Sale to pitch as good as he has, and that has always made zero sense to me since the trade was made.

    Ah the saga of the $100M man. It’s funny to look back at the comments on the Yoshida thread when they signed him that I was NOT to thrilled at, which most on here were. Bloom had so much of a vision he closed the bidding down in record time with that contract offer. Like I said earlier a parting gift by Bloom, and now there’s not much FUN watching him.

    Oh no Cora is a criminal! I agree Ref Man should have been in the lineup last night, and most likely for NOshida. I don’t think that will pass as a criminal offense though.

    Great Day in Boston yesterday with the Duck Boats rolling through the streets celebrating the WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON CELTICS. Great, Great Fun for all. FUN for the 1-2 million people who showed up, and FUN for the whole Celtics organization. A FUN, FUN day, and a great time for everyone. I guess the Red Sox game wasn’t as fun last night as some of the Little League players played D last night.

    Another good outing for Sale last night as he 1 hit the Yankees through 5 IP with 8K’s giving up 1 run, and raising his record to 10-2 that counts in the all important standings. Not a bad season for the old boy that the Red Sox are paying the Braves $17M for Sale to pitch for them. And some on here has said JH is not to generous with his money. The Braves would probably say otherwise. 86.2 IP pitched, 65 H, and 107K’s with a 2.91 ERA. Pretty nice gift to the Braves.
