Good to see the Red Sox had their hitting shoes on last night. Also nice to see Raffy back, and chipping in last night. Wong, and Abreu have been raking, and even the RAF Man had two hits, and don’t forget Bobby D who also had a hit.
Pay NO attention to the man behind the curtain, or in your case keyboard, whose number 1 song is I’m always wrong. As for me I had no comment on Meidroth. WRONG AGAIN! Maybe , or not.
The returning injured guys has taken the DH spot last night, and tonight, so NOshida has been odd man out. Except for this past Saturday NOshida hadn’t been doing much anyway.
Last Man Standing. Now Bello on the IL. What is Bailey doing to all these pitchers? Houck, and the Kut Man is all that’s left of the regular rotation, and the are not even out of April yet.
I believe Houck has always been ahead of Whit of going into the rotation. It was that way two years ago when Sale went down before the season started, and Whit only got into the rotation, because Houck wasn’t vaxed. Whit said he would rather be the Swiss Army knife, and IMO I think that’s what Cora had in store for him, but injuries changed all of that anyway.
Cora had already said 4 spots for the rotation was already set in ST, and the 5th spot was between Houck, Whit, and Wink. I believe Houck would have gotten that spot, and Whit got in when Gio went down, or would have gotten in when Pivetta went down.
You were right, because of what was done, or wasn’t done, but if things were done differently the results could have turned out different, but there is no way to know that now.
Run wild, and run free, but to me the first option should want to be buyers, and not sellers, and I think it’s entirely reasonable to start there, and not the other way around, and at the end it all depends on the circumstances at the moment.
I think this is going to be one of those strange years like it hasn’t been already, and anything is possible. I said I hoped the Dodgers would go 162-0 when they spent all that money in the offseason, and even they don’t look so great at the moment.
Exactly, and that’s why the players were calling for pitching help last year when the Red Sox went with so many openers. Some on here wanted to sell, but I’ll side with the players on that one.
