  1. He already did, and quite nicely IMO.🤭
  2. Seems like the past few years they’ve been trying to lock up all the young guys even Casas.
  3. The game isn’t played on paper. The rotation does have plenty of depth, but that doesn’t mean it will be as good as it looks. I’m not counting on Chapman to be anywhere near as good as last year, so Whit may have to be counted on for more, so I’m not so sold on the pen as some. The D looks better, but Story, and Mayer will be a key there. Having enough power bats is still a concern to me. I’m not glooming, and dooming, but waiting, and seeing, and hoping for a Gomer.
  4. Maybe, but Duran has pretty much been FT the past few years anyway despite what he’s done vs LHP.
  5. It will all depend on how well Abreu hits LHP.
  6. Thanks for saying people can say what they want about Brez like they didn’t before. I’ll keep it at meh right now on a wait, and see if Not getting a mega big bat will cost them in the long run.
  7. Well he didn’t, so after a good start he was pretty much much Suspect after that, and so much so he never came back up to Boston.
  8. Who’s playing 3B for the Giants this year?
  9. Fair to point out as is it is to point out it’s an entirely different situation.
  10. I would say now that going into ST this is the best the Nation has felt about things in a long time.
  11. It works as is, but was Durbin the best the Red Sox could have done? All the talking about trading with Arizona, Houston, or the Cubs, and to me Durbin was a settle at the very least. Cheap, and nothing substantial given up.
  12. There will be comparisons all year long on what Devers is doing, what Bregman is doing, and what Alonso is doing compared to Con Man.
  13. Wow! I’m so relieved BTV said we did well. Enough gloves now with IKF, but having enough bats will be the question.
  14. Financial flexibility is always good, but so is power, and production.
  15. Is Milwaukee loaded with IF that they would trade this guy being only 25, and controlled.
  16. I’ve already said that I don’t care one way, or the other. Things tend to work themselves out, and I’ll just wait till the opening day lineup to see.
  17. I don’t think there will be this constant rotation through the DH spot like everyone thinks even as the team is constructed today.
  18. We’ll see on that as the Red Sox have already said they would rather put Mayer at 3B.
  19. Durbin predominately played 3B last year, so where in Boston?
  20. Durbin it is! Durbin comes, and Harrison goes. 6 player trade also involves DHam.
  21. Always penciled in? That’s a no. After the Bregman deal fell through? More likely.
  22. I certainly don’t, and I don’t think asking the question is worrying.
  23. Like I said you never know what Cora will do with the roster, and you don’t know what Brez will do to get to the opening day 26, so that’s why I just for the most part just let it play out.
