  1. I’ll be surprised if Casas shows flashes in Woo let alone Boston.
  2. Fine. Just keep it that way. No need to move either around outside an injury. Cora just announce it, and move on.
  3. Sam just has a way with words just like he did when he said Boston is the place where everyone wants to be before he hired Breslow #12. JH has his way with words,TW has a way with words, and Breslow has a way with words. Imagine when they are all in the same meeting.🤭
  4. I know all about strong rotations, and run prevention especially in the postseason since I started following baseball. Sandy, and Don, Gibby, Palmer, Mickey LO, and McLain, but I don’t see the Red Sox having an elite staff as I heard on here.
  5. I can disagree with me?🤔
  6. You can Pooh Pooh HR all you want, but it doesn’t change anything rocket science, or not.
  7. Yes, and HR leads to those more runs.
  8. Yes Bres did acknowledge that HR help teams win postseason games. 35-5 is a pretty good record that shows that. I’m sure Bres had good intentions to get some HR, but those good intentions didn’t lead to anything of the sort. Yes the Durbin trade was good for what it was, and yes Cora is all positives, but I bet he’d be more postive with at least a Bregman by his side.
  9. Gray’s money? I f you wanted to spend money on a bat you could have spent Ranger’s money on that. You only had Ranger money to spend, because they didn’t spend it on Bregman.
  10. I just stated what Breslow said. I think I already knew about HR long before Breslow came around.
  11. I already showed you an accepted deal for Neto.
  12. Like I always said is that you don’t get a year back, and waiting for next year might not turn out as well as you hoped, and planned for, because there are no guarantees. Yes the so called overpay term gets used way to much IMO despite what BTV says.
  13. As Breslow. said HR wins postseason games. I agree with what you are saying, and this way may turn out better than with Bregman, Alonso, or Raffy, and if it does Breslow will be applauded, but if it don’t he will be chastised for not having a better plan like getting a power bat, or two.
  14. I didn’t say anything of the sort. I just said I’m not as concerned as most on here on whom the Red Sox trade like Duran, or Abreu, or some of the suspects.
  15. I agree, and as I mentioned at the time I think the offer to Alonso would have been better if the Red Sox knew at the time they wouldn’t be getting Bregman.
  16. That’s for you, but I would rather have Neto than Durbin. Yes I know Neto would have cost more to get, and more to keep, but I’m not concerned about that like most are on here.
  17. No! I said Alonso was their first choice for 1B, but Bregman was Plan A above EVERYTHING else. Alonso was ready to sign first as Moon already pointed out, so once again NO.
  18. Several attempts sounds serious to me. I trust McAdams on this.
  19. Yes Devers had called out Breslow before, which was pretty much telling him to do his job, and get the team some pitching.
  20. Once again I agree. What looks so good on paper, and what actually plays out could be two different things.
  21. Once again I get all that, but the Red Sox went after Alonso first, and Ranger is not on the team if Bregman who was their ist choice was signed. Like I said it all may work out for the best, but then again it might not.
  22. I get all that, but it still seems the Red Sox made several attempts to get him.
