    Devers knew Brez wanted him at 1B. You don’t care that a fan thought Devers would be better at DH? I guess the same goes for not caring if a fan thinks Raffy would have been better at 1B. Still going on about what happened after Raffy got to SF, which was a entirely different situation all together, and not seeing that is astounding to me. Yes SOME opinions are wildly different, and that seems to be a problem for some.

    I agree on the first, and would agree on the second if it had been Cora. Who knows maybe Cora has told Brez the same thing Raffy did. I think it’s more than a possibility, and the same thing with Bloom.

    You can ignore the Casas getting injured the previous years all you want, but RAffy had seen all the bad tryouts there, and that could be why he told Brez to do his job, and find a real 1B. As Cora had said once again the Red Sox were fine at 1B, so you keep saying Raffy was needed at 1B just rings hollow. Seems you have a problem with Cora. All of this has been gone over, and over, and over again. No One has, or will change their mine, so I’ll close with this.😂😂🤮👋

    I’ve been shocked twice this offseason already. Getting rid of Hicks, and signing a SP to a 5 yr contract.

    Those 786 runs scored last year was a little misleading. To many games of not scoring much at all.

    You make it sound like the Red Sox losing their 1B was something new, and all of a sudden it created a big crisis that only Raffy could solve no matter if he had ever played the position, or not, and hadn’t even played in the field last year. Casas was hurt the year before also, so needing a 1B had been an ongoing thing hello Franchy Strange Glove. You guys keep bringing up Raffy going to SF, and saying he’d play there, which was an entirely different situation in more ways than one. He was going to a NEW team, who already had a good 3B. COMPLETELY different situation entirely. How often do we have to go through this is how often you keep bringing it up like starting up again on something TWO DAYS old. Why? It is YOUR opinion Raffy threw his teammates under the bus, but that doesn’t make it necessary so.

    Well they got rid of Hicks, but getting rid of Masa is a lot bigger task at hand.

    I don’t think he was signed as a starter, but that doesn’t mean at some point due to unforeseen circumstances he doesn’t end up as one.

    I said before FA started that the Red Sox would fill in the IF from within as much as they could, but I wasn’t counting on this much

    Gasper was part of the 11 man brigade that shuffled through 2B for the Red Sox in 2024. Looks like Brez has got his man.🤫

    Seems to me the non answer at this time is from Brez. Like I said he’s had since last Oct to work on Roster construction. I don’t really care either what happens with either Duran, or Abreu that many seem to be so worried about. I believe someone has already said Brez seems to be at an impasse, which shouldn’t surprise anyone.

    Brez has had last Oct to work on this. Nothing would surprise me with no trades being made from RAF Man at 2B, or a DHam-Romy platoon, or even KC back at 2B, which none of them are a ideal option.
