  1. Bingo! That was an easy one. Quite the softball question.👍
  2. Correct. Have the Red Sox really missed Crochet? Judge being out hurts the Yankees a lot more than all the pitchers being out for the Red Sox, and I’m not even going to put little pinky Anthony into the equation, because he was pretty much a NO SHOW, except for drawing walks before he went off into limbo.
  3. We agree. It’s not who’s playing the best, but which team is playing the worst, and someone has to win. You got it.
  4. This is just like Bloom who couldn’t work out the expiring contracts he had.
  5. The Yankees have been floundering for many games, and the White Sox are still the White Sox despite being over 500 in a watered down league. Somebody has to win the games, which maybe is what the Red Sox are doing now.🤔
  6. And you continue to wash, rinse, and repeat. Going into the season the Red Sox needed two power producing bats. I suggested Alonso, and Flintstone Schwarber, and yes I know Schwarber was a long shot. Brez thought he had Bregman coming back so he half assed an offer to Alonso, and went out, and got the Con Man thinking he would go along with Bregman. He whiffed on Bregman, and then pivoted to Ranger, and settled on DUBin. Another Big power bat was still needed. Yes Story Land went down for repairs, and little pinky Anthony didn’t produce anything except walks before Mayer hurt his finger with that pinky swear. Another big bat was needed then, and another big bat is needed now.
  7. I agree. Being 5 games under 500 looks a lot better than 14 under 500. All the games mattered, and matter, and now it’s a question if they can climb out of that deep hole they dug themselves.
  8. Yes you were the FIRST to give up not long ago. A fair weather fan then, and still the same Man Behind The Curtain today.👎
  9. A discussion on the airwaves the other day was how the Red Sox have played so much better since Marshmallow Mayer went out of the lineup, and the Red SOX got more hungry players in there who really want to play.
  10. The word on the street is that the Red Sox sent little pinky Anthony down to Florida to get him away from his pinky swear buddy Marshmallow Mayer, and the Boston nightlife.🤫
  11. This winter? This season isn’t over yet. How are you guys going to pivot if the Red Sox become buyers come August instead of the prevailing opinion of sellers?
  12. But still another bat was needed before the season started, and before everything has played out. Brez thought that bat was Bregman’s.
  13. To start I was responding on MVP’s post this time. I get your point hypothetically, but you couldn’t have counted on the Con Man having a career year so far either. Remember the Con Man was supposed to be an addition to Bregman, which thankfully Brez botched, but when that happened another bat was still needed. Yes if Story, and Duran produced along with little pinky Anthony most likely the W-L would be better, and even better than that if another big bat had been added.
  14. Going back to my old Navy days. SWEEPERS SWEEPERS man your brooms.
  15. And I’ll say again. Fantasy Island.
  16. Also it’s quite a difference between the hotbed for baseball in Boston, and whatever Florida is.
  17. Story Land has been opened, and closed for repairs, and maintenance pretty much since he’s been here, so it’s been iffy when he’d be open, and when he’d be closed.
