  1. You still don’t get it. The only thing there is to see is that he’s healthy. Another N for you.🙈🤭
  2. Yea, but according to Notin he’s just been unlucky.🤭🙈🤮
  3. 👍 Not a care in the world.
  4. Call it what you want, but if it’s a suggestions/predictions, or opinions they still don’t happen, so what they are called is really irrelevant to them not happening.
  5. You try to make it sound like a suggestion makes you look less wrong than a prediction, but it really doesn’t no matter how you try to spin things. If you don’t like the BIGGEST show in Boston being mentioned like the Celtics then TDB🙈🤭🤮!
  6. Exactly. It’s just wash, rinse, and repeat with him. I’ll repeat again that if Sale would have stayed in Boston, and was still pitching like he is now there would be all kinds of picking up his option talk, but certainly no need to do it before like moon keeps spouting off on.
  7. Sorry Max, but the Red Sox are #4 in town now, and it didn’t used to be that way.
  8. Bailey could win the Governorship in MA if the election was held today? Once again the Red Sox are still on the back burner in the Boston sports scene with the Celtics headed to the NBA finales, and there is still more Bruins, and Pats talk going on than the Red Sox. What’s popular, and talked about on here isn’t necessarily a hot topic in other places, so Bailey isn’t as hot a topic out there as you think.
  9. There was NO need to discuss extending him, or picking up his option prior to him being traded this past offseason just like their was no need to extend Sale prior to 2019, which turned out worse than I even thought when I said it was a bad move the second I heard about it. More likely than not if he had stayed in Boston this year, and had pitched like he has with Atlanta there would be some talk about picking up his 2025 option.
  10. Right now? The jury is still out on that baseball talent.
  11. You can call it ignorant all you want, but until you have something concrete, which you don’t saying no report means nothing, or very distinct, and likely a possibility gives you another N. I guess it’s up to you to find something to prove you might have guessed correct. A long history of players approving a trade for extra incentive, and money I’m thinking had Nothing to do with Sale, and Atlanta.
  12. Just remember the new deal the Braves gave Sale lowers his salary for this year, which the Red Sox are paying, and Atlanta is on the books next year for $22M. Sales gets an extra $10.5M guaranteed money in the deal, and then a wait, and see for 2026. It’s not like Atlanta is throwing all kinds of money Sale’s way.
  13. No chance is your opinion/suggestion/prediction, or whatever you want to call it, but unless you can find something to the contrary I’d say you are most likely wrong again, and again, and again.🤭🙈
  14. Another report I read from an interview with the Braves POBO said that he inquired about Sale in the offseason before the 2023 season, and also last year during the season, and nothing could be worked out with Bloom, so they had been interested in Sale for a while, and once again it sounded like the extension was all on Atlanta, and not, because of any demands from Sale.
  15. From all the reports I read it was all Atlanta’s doing on the extension, and not Anything from Sale asking for, or demanding. A lack of a report saying Sale was demanding does mean something.
  16. Plus very inconsistent bats especially with runners on base also.
  17. Sale was in no position to ask for either, and there has been NO report out there that he did.
  18. If Atlanta would have taken on all of Sale’s salary that’s one thing, but they didn’t, and that’s been my biggest gripe from the start. Only shedding $10M after signing Gio was not worth it to me.
  19. I don’t know if the Sale deal was being worked on when they signed Gio, but either way Sale is gone for only $10M. Right Now the deal looks bad, but could change if Grissom works out, but right now is what matters most at the moment. If the Sox brass didn’t care about this year then why sign Gio at all?
  20. Exactly! The fact that the Red Sox have hung on to Bobby D should tell you something. I believe Kavadas is a none story except for on here.
  21. I believe Kavadas would have been brought up already if he was coming up. 1B has been a production problem since Casas went down, but their are more problems than 1B on why the team is 10-14 in May.
  22. No Gio wasn’t going to be ignored forever, but maybe you could have got him signed for less money. I DOUBT very much the price would have gone up. He basically finished last season as a batting practice pitcher serving up HR balls.
  23. I don’t have a problem with the signing either, but it just doesn’t make sense if you are trying to save money to just shave $10M on Sale, but go out, and sign Gio for $18M.
  24. This sums things up pretty well. Nobody else was knocking on Gio’s door either.
  25. 110 loss team in 2021, which isn’t that long ago.
