    I can’t believe all the dumping on poor lovable Devers Forever. He is on a homer streak now, so some are giddy on here, but i wouldn’t compare him in anyway to Gus Grissom.

    I was fine when I first heard about the trade, but liked it less when I heard the Red Sox are still paying $17M to the Braves. Like you said it did save the Red Sox $10M.

    When Sale got traded to the Braves I posted that I thought Sale was going to stay healthy this year, and have a big year for the Braves, and Notin said I couldn’t say that, because I did say that when he was with the Red Sox. Talk about C’mon man.🤭🙈

    A reporter asked Cora after Friday’s game about slipping below 500, and Cora said they’d just win the next two game, and get back over 500. Well they didn’t win the next two games, and the Red Sox sit 1 game below 500 with a game in the loss column out of first place, and a game in the loss column out of last place, and continue the pattern of win some, lose some, win some, lose some, and most likely will continue to stay that way. Led by everyone’s hero Devers Forever or Never Devers the Red Sox scored 11 runs yesterday, and made the teams runs scored column look better then it really is, and some guys padded their stats yesterday too, and yes some didn’t like Grissom, and the RAF Man bringing up the rear. I applaud the die hards who watch every inning of every game, but I’m glad the good stuff will start up again with the C’s on Tuesday. Go C’s.

    Moon you’ve spent to much time behind that curtain, and you are so confused, befuddled, and are still looking for your first idea. NO ONE said anything about always being right, but it’s about you that always get your suggestions, predictions (BTV trades) wrong. That’s why aMr. Wrong they keep playing your song. If you want to fantasize, and you do that Raffy will be moved to 1B/DH anytime soon, or as long as Casas, and Naoshida is still on the team then dream, and drool away.🙈🤭

    Pay NO attention to the man behind the curtain.🤭🙈🤮. Now it’s an opinion. You go back, and forth so many times between suggestions, opinions, and predictions, because you think it makes you look less wrong. It doesn’t. Mr Wrong they keep playing your song.

    Raffy will be critiqued every AB in every game the rest of his career in Boston, which I doubt ends up Devers Forever. Right, or wrong, fair, or unfair, and you whining, and crying about it isn’t going to stop it.

    I take Raffy for what he is, which is a bad 3B who will hit 270/280, hit 30-35 HR, and drive in 100 RBI +,or -. Where he plays DH/1B/3B is to me not worth the money especially if he’s a DH.

    No we can’t stop the not clutch talk, and it will probably continue as long as Devers is in a Red Sox uniform. You can come up with all the stats you want, but they won’t offset the eye test People see what they want to see, and remember what’s most important to them. Just go back, and look at the game threads, and that tells you on a pitch by pitch basis, and an AB by AB basis. Game threads are what they are, and in real time like it, or not, so NO the Raffy no clutch talk I expect will continue. Devers Forever, or Never Devers depending on the situation, and your taste for such matters.

    He’s the best all around hitter, but needs improvement with MOB. He’s hit a HR three games in a row all solo shots, but left 5 on base last night, and has been doing that pretty regularly.

    Agree, and if fans don’t think he is playing up to his contract it will always be that way.

    It’s rained a lot on the Red Sox the last 3 years. Even pouring at times in case you haven’t noticed. As 1 poster has repeatedly said Sham!, Sham!, Sham! I don’t think any let’s go Sox isn’t going to cut it even though some have tried.🤫

    The Red Sox are back in familiar territory under 500, and most likely where they belong. With the C’s, and B’s being in the postseason, and all the draft talk surrounding the Pats the Red Sox have been for the most part on the back burner in Boston, and have been for a few years now. It didn’t used to be the Red Sox were #4 in Boston, but that’s where they reside now, and deservedly so. The diehards are still there, but most likely that number gets fewer everyday.

    Your Devers Forever is just not that good a player, and is no way the hitter that Manny was, or CLUTCH like Ortiz was. He sucks pretty much on D, and most likely won’t age very well.

    Red did not suggest to not hire Bloom, but did predict it would not be a good signing. Red didn’t suggest to not extend Sale, but did predict it would be a bad move. Red didn’t suggest to to not resign Kike, but did predict it would be a waste of $10M. All wasn’t that hard to predict. Red did suggest the Red Sox resign Turner, and he’s fallen off after a decent start, but still would have probably been better than the Bobby D/Cooper/Smith contingent. Red suggested the Red Sox resign Bogey, which many fans did, but it looks like now it wouldn’t have been a good move, but still better than what they’ve had at SS the last two years. Red suggested the sign Jansen TWO years ago, which they did a year later. You on the other had a brown nose from Bloom, and the overrated Kike was your Boy Toy, and Hero. None of your suggested BTV trades have never happened, nor has your suggested signings. That’s why you pay NO Attention to the man behind the curtain, because Mr. Wrong, Mr. Wrong they keep playing your song.

    NNN the more you post you add an N. No one has said they don’t value Defense, but you can’t get through your head why the Red Sox are doing what they are doing, and never do any of your suggestions. Why do you suppose that is NNNN?🤭🙈🤮

    Big game for the Sox tonight as a loss will dip them below 500. I know I’ll get accurate reports on here. Thank god the Bruins are back tonight.
