  1. Like it, or not, but Cora said again a couple of days ago that Raffy was not getting moved off 3B. I know it’s been a hot topic on here for the past few years to get Raffy off 3B, but Cora is NOT listening, and if he was he wouldn’t pay any attention anyway. Keep up the good work of critiquing though.
  2. Lots, and lots of make believe, and hoping for fairy tales to come true.
  3. Anyone who actually believed the Red Sox had a chance of landing Soto were not only duped, but bought some rotten cheese Once Again.🤭🙈
  4. 👍👍👍. Yankees have plenty of mony to spend after losing out on Soto.
  5. The Red Sox had had about the same chance of Soto being in the Red Sox OF in 2025 as they did of having Babe Ruth, and Mookie Betts in it, but yet so Many bought in to the Fairy Tale happening on here hook, line, and Stinker. LMAO all the way home.🤭🙈
  6. Love it! Love it! Love it! Thank God the Fairy Tale story with the Red Sox is over.🙈🤭🤮
  7. From the Bad Karma, and being Frail Sale in Boston to mister CY Young in Atlanta. Who could have saw that coming? Atlanta.🤫
  8. Congratulations to Chris CY YOUNG Sale for winning the NL 2024 CY Young award. What a gracious gift it was from the Red Sox to the Braves courtesy of JH, and Brez the Prez.
  9. No on the convincing, but nice try. It’s just a case of JH actually mandating Mookie to be traded to either DD, or Bloom. JH was most likely in on all the discussions, and approved everything that happened, or didn’t happen. That I’ll go with, but just not on giving the direct order to do the trade, which really don’t make a difference on where Mookie ended up.
  10. Much to your chagrin Mookie will be talked about for years to come as he’s still talked about as much as he has been on here, and most likely as his rings continue to add up, and his playing career is long over.
  11. We know why Mookie was traded, because they couldn’t agree to a contract whatever that was, and I’m sure JH was in on the trade discussions with DD, and Bloom, but I’m not there that JH directed the trade to be done. NO One said anything, or referred that Bloom would have done on his own.
  12. I have no doubt JH OK’d the trade, but it still doesn’t say he directed Mookie to be traded to DD, or Bloom, or what the contract offers were.
  13. No doubt that JH makes the call on how much money is spent, but to this day it hasn’t been confirmed on what contract was offered to Mookie. Was DD going to trade Mookie, because JH told him to, or to get something for him, because negotiations was not going to get anything done? Could be either, or both, and the same with Bloom. I think DD would have come out by now, and said if JH directed him to trade Mookie. Bloom who knows?
  14. All this Mookie talk since he’s been traded, and two main points has not been confirmed to the fans. Did JH tell anyone that Mookie had to be traded, and what was Mookie offered for a contract? Lots, and lots of speculation on both, and that’s all I’m saying. To say Bloom was directed to trade Mookie may be an opinion, which has been voiced many times on here, but as far as i know hasn’t been confirmed.
  15. The Red Sox were not going to sign Mookie anyway, so why would you fire someone who you just hired for trading him? At least you got a little something for him. I doubt DD was told to trade Mookie either, but the report is out there he was in discussions to do so. Your Bloom was not fired for trading Mookie philosophy doesn’t hold up to anything s***, or not.🙈🤭.
  16. Put that together with the contact Soto will get will agree to from the Red Sox, and you’ve got a Whole lot of nothing.
  17. Was DD directed by JH that he had to trade Mookie? Nothing has ever confirmed that Bloom was directed he had to trade Mookie, and to the contrary there are reports out there that Bloom was never told he had to trade Mookie.
  18. The zRed Sox did need OF help at the time, but Yoshida was a bad choice, and not money well spent.
  19. Agree, and those type of RHH OF like Renfroe, Duvall, and O’Neil have been easy to get anyway.
  20. You guys crack me up with all this fWAR talk. Very simply put Pivetta was an OK pitcher for $7.5M, but i wouldn’t want Nothing to do with him for $20M+. Like Brez has said if you offer someone a QO be prepared for them to take it.
  21. It may be good for business, and what you would do, and it sounds good to me, but like I said I come from the viewpoint of what I think the Red Sox will actually do, which is more realistic.I said last year when so many bought into Full Throttle I said I didn’t think the Red Sox would spend on any high priced FA, and because of that I didn’t spend all offseason trashing the FO, and JH, and crying Sham, sham, sham. I was surprised they spent as much as they did on Gio, but I kept saying let’s wait, and see how they looked on Mar 28 when the season opened, and I’ll take the same approach this year. Just being realistic, which works for me.
  22. Nobody ever said both wouldn’t have been an better option, but I speak what I think the Red Sox will do, or don’t do, and don’t get into the make believe, and fantasy stuff, and that’s why I said the Red Sox would not be in on Chapman, and make all the drastic corresponding moves afterwards, and they didn’t.Just like now I don’t care who the Red Sox trade, or don’t trade, but I don’t see JH opening up his wallet wide enough to outbid a number of the big spenders, which will be out there, and willing to do so for Soto.
  23. I’m sure they had some sort of interest, but the main point being had Zero chance of landing him just like having a zero chance of landing Soto under JH reluctance to open his checkbook very wide, which doesn’t play very well against a handful of others that will.
  24. Two players that Notin was fantasizing about the last few years to be in a Red Sox uniform, which the Red Sox had no interest in, which means Zero chance of happening just like Soto being in a Red Sox uniform, or the Yam Man last year. Come on man!
  25. Sign Soto? Who is Boston going to outspend for him even IF they wanted to? Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Philly, and on, and on. The Red Sox had a better chance of signing Gallo, and Chapman, which they didn’t want to do. Yam Man last year, and Soto this year is just Outer Limits dreaming.🤭🙈. After Brez gets the FO all arranged I’m sure their first assignment will be to run all the figures, and come up with a landing offer to Soto with no restrictions from JH.😉
