    You always want a quote on an interview that Cora did. We’ve already went through all this when Cora explained all about how he was behind in his conditioning in an interview at the start of ST. He explained it all in that interview in great detail, but yet you guys keep speculating. He talked yesterday how he has talked to Raffy. If you watched you might possibly know more of what’s going on.

    Raffy most likely is getting all kinds of advice, and probably more than he needs. Once again if you watched the pregame show yesterday you would have heard from Cora, and that he has talked with Raffy.

    I think he’s just all out of whack from picking up bad habits when his shoulders were bothering him last year. All reports have said he has had no problems whatsoever with either shoulder since he has shown up at ST, and that’s what I’m going with until I hear different.

    We’re really talking about OPS here? 0-16 is plain, and simple. 0-16. 12 K’s. He’s only hit the ball 4 times.

    Striking out 10 times in the first 3 games of the season is not only news worthy, but it set a Major League record. This was more than 3 bad games.

    He most likely picked up some bad habits with his bad shoulders last year, and it’s still a carryover to this year. Hopefully that’s all it is.

    If you watched the pre, and post game show you’d get a lot of this info, and wouldn’t have to speculate all the time, and most likely get things wrong. What a novel idea that would be.

    Why worry so much on what would, or could happen? Only 2 games of the season has been played. Things will take care of themselves when the situation arrives. Mayer could go down himself, which wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Anthony could too. Ponder that.

    You can read anything you want into what Cora said YESTERDAY, but to me it was Very Clear, and direct. Once again it would be more than foolish IMO to put Raffy ANYWHERE in the field again, and yes that means 1B.

    Cora made it Very Clear yesterday when asked if Raffy would fill in at 3B, and Cora said Raffy was the DH, and DH only. It would be more than foolish to have Raffy to fill in anywhere. If he was a bad 3B playing there everyday he most likely be even worse filling in. Once again Cora was very clear that Raffy would ONLY DH.

    Even as a DH I don’t see Raffy aging very well the way he whips that bat around.

    Ah the $300M+/$30M/yr DH Devers Forever. Mookie was up for contract at the wrong time, and Devers was the last Man standing of the three. If Devers would have come up for contract when Mookie did, and vice versa most likely Mookie would still be here, and Devers would not have been forever.

    Casas is a slow starter too, and who knows what Story has left in his bat.

    From the reports I have heard Raffy has had no problems whatsoever with either shoulder since he reported to ST, and hopefully his swing is just out of whack. Adjusting to just DH will be a big adjustment also.

    Demand to play against lefties, or be traded? He’s a role player with Nothing guaranteed. Bye bye Felicia. 🙈🤭🙈. LMAO how much you worry about how many AB the Ref Man May, or may not get.

    I wouldn’t look to deep into Cora leaving Abreu in to face a lefty. If Ref Man would have been sent up to bat for Abreu then the Texas manager most likely would have brought Martin in to face the Ref Man, so that’s why Cora left Abreu in IMO. If Martin hadn’t been warming up it might have meant more.

    Ref Man most likely will get more squeezed as time goes on as Abreu might see more time against LHP.

    Masa was an overpay right from the start, but it’s not like the guy can’t hit. $18M+ for Masa, and $30M+ for a more expensive DH. What a deal.

    After starting out listening to Curt Gowdy, Ned Matin, and Ken Coleman the NESN both the last several years have been nothing but Yuckers IMO. Lou is better than Youk, and Millar though.
