  1. It will be interesting to see how he pitches tonight now that he’s further along into the season.
  2. Yes hindsight now says they could have done something with Houck, and a contract. He can’t become a FA untill the 2028 season when he will be 32, so I don’t know if you want to buy out his 3 ARB years with a couple more years added. He’s been better than good so far, but I still want to see how he finishes out the season
  3. Sales last 5 starts had been 6-7 days apart, but I don’t know if that’s the schedule, or not. He pitches tonight on the 5th day.
  4. Agree, and that’s why I said a change of scenery may do that.
  5. He hasn’t been the same since he was out with that injury. He had a slow start to the season, so most likely he will get going again.
  6. They keep penciling Story in, because of that contract, and, because he is a good defensive 2B/SS. I think like Sale he needs a change of scenery. How that could be accomplished is another matter.
  7. I agree with everything. See it’s that easy.
  8. It’s really not to deep, and really to much analysis isn’t really needed. If Grissom had worked out up to this point, and Sale had gotten injured again, or wasn’t having the good year he’s had so far it wouldn’t be an issue, but nothing has worked out so far in Boston’s favor. Gio got hurt before he even pitched an inning, Grissom has been injured twice, and didn’t produce much of anything when he did play, and Sale is a CY candidate at this moment.
  9. They are a cast of characters, and a patchwork at best, but the team is winning, in the postseason at the moment, and all have produced, and contributed to that winning.
  10. Maybe later on when Grissom couldn’t play, and when he did play he pretty much sucked, and then couldn’t play again. Meanwhile Sale was having a CY type season. Hatred is pretty strong, and not directed at him anyway, but Brez. When the trade was made I think most was happy with the getting back a good suspect/prospect for Sale. No doubt that has soured for some.
  11. Very simple solution is to not talk to me, or answer any of my post. Seems like you have a big need to do so. ORDS.
  12. You worry more that something is predicted negatively than if it is predicted correctly. If it’s predicted correctly whose fault is that? All I heard ALL offseason was negativity, negativity after negativity with the most vocal yelling sham, sham, sham at the top of his lungs. I on the other hand was one of the few voices of reason, and kept saying wait to see what things look like on March 28th, and then see how things work out from there. The sham, sham, sham was a sham, and I would say things have worked out pretty well. It sounds like you like going through s***** water to find what you are looking for, or at least hoping to find even if it’s not there. That adds nothing to any conversation.
  13. Good post Max. The Sox have 3 more years of Story’s contract, and unless the Red Sox can unload that, and if one of these years he stays healthy he’ll either be the 2B, or SS until Mayer gets there. Grissom hasn’t had much of an opportunity, but the opportunity he’s had he’s pretty much sucked, and now others have been given a chance, and produced at least with the bat.
  14. And more importantly the Red Sox have a better chance of making the postseason this year (2024) with Jansen closing games for them. Cora said he expects to be playing baseball in October this year (2024).
  15. The point is more visiting teams fans are coming to Fenway then ever before, so what you get for a count on a given night isn’t all Red Sox fans. It didn’t used to be that way, so in other words less Red Sox fans are going to Fenway these days.
  16. You can deduct all the points you want, but bottom line is I predicted what I said I predicted, and it was NO Fabrication like you wanted it to be. I knew 100% I had said, but I couldn’t find it before.
  17. Post 135 on the Red Sox sign Gio thread. Fabrication MA.
  18. Post 135 on the Red Sox Gio thread. Read it, and weep.
  19. Taunt you? Wha, wha, wha. True I said I didn’t mind seeing Sale go, and I also said I didn’t like paying the Braves $17M, and I still don’t, and I also said I thought Sale would stay healthy, and have a good year with the Braves being a better team. All is true, and this has been gone over 100 times already. Once again post 333 has been mentioned more than once, so you can stick to your fabrication story all you want, and also your so called taunting. You know like BA, highlights, and box scores, and many more. The pot calling the kettle black. OMG.
  20. Still spewing the same old crap. A change of scenery, a better team, good health, and bingo a CY type performance so far from Sale. It really wasn’t that hard to see that coming. It still puzzles, and bothers you for some reason, but then that’s not surprising at all.🙈🤭
  21. Sorry Max but Brez is still evaluating, and he’ll let you know when he figures it out.🤫
  22. Which CONTENDER needs Jansen the most. How about the Boston Red Sox?
  23. That’s 100% true. More, and more visiting teams fans take over Fenway the past few years. Total attendance isn’t down, but total of Red Sox fans are. You are right that it didn’t used to be that way. JH doesn’t care as long as there is asses filling the seats. He’ll take anyone’s money. Yours, mine, and theirs.🤫
  24. You should have really put down that hammer years ago.
