  1. That has been the battle cry on here for the last three years at least that I know of.
  2. A win of a 20-7 score, or a loss by the same score only counts as 1 game in the standings, and doesn’t count for anything the next game. The Yankees are in town, and taking 2-3 from them will talk some fans down off the ledge just like the night before when the Red Sox shutout the Rockies for their only win on the trip. It’s still only July 24, and there are 60 games to go, and most likely securing a postseason berth will go right down to the last of those 60 games.
  3. I would rather try to improve our chances this year 2024, and worry about 2025, and beyond after this season is over. If the chances for 2024 can be improved along with 2025, and beyond all the better, but improving the chances for 2024 are owed to all Red Sox personnel in that clubhouse IMO.
  4. Thanks for your kind words Max, but just think now you can add the Red Sox losing 2-3 to the lowly Rockies to your Red Sox struggling to get a split against the lowly White Sox, and your narrative on how much money the Red Sox are paying the Braves for Sale, and how much money Brez has blown on Gio, so keep up the good work. Once again thanks for all you do.
  5. I hold myself to my predictions, suggestions, or opinions.
  6. I know why they did it, but throwing 20 more pitches a night after throwing 25 pitches in mop up at that still does not make sense. Having 4 days off after wouldn’t necessarily offset on throwing back to back nights especially at the time it was happening.
  7. The Red Sox should be em bare assed after today’s game, and the road trip in general. Hang your heads, tuck your tails between your legs, and get on that plane, and head back to Boston to get ready for the Yankees, and ss if you can get back on track, or not.
  8. It’s not amazing, and it’s been explained many times. Not everyone has the need to wave Pom Poms when they are winning. If it’s so disturbing to you to be on here during, or after a loss there is a simple solution to that. Don’t go on here. Once again yes it’s 1 loss, but they ALL add up.
  9. I didn’t see the sense in pitching Kenley in mop up duty the other day either after throwing 25 pitches the night before rather if he was going to Colorado, or not.
  10. The Red Sox have a good chance of going over the 200 pitch count today.
  11. Bailey, go out, and talk to the pitcher again. It worked so well last time.
  12. I’m glad Bailey went out to the mound in a 15-3 game, and made things better. Wow!
  13. I guess you can’t do your Cyndi Lauper impression. More bad news added to the bad news.
  14. Was it a prediction, a suggestion, or an opinion? That always seems like a big question on here like it really matters.
  15. It doesn’t count anymore, but they all add up.
  16. Just another in a long list of thoughts, opinions, suggestions, or predictions that end up being wrong.
  17. I agree that it sure looks like that today. The OF is usually pretty steady though.
  18. The RAF Man is a good CF, but he is NO JBJ out there.
  19. Those would be regular old numbers, so they are pretty much known, and have been for years. RHP vs RHB, and LHP vs LHB batter stats are nothing new, and useful.
  20. Unfortunately Story can’t stay on the field, so what you want right, or wrong doesn’t seem like a big priority to the Red Sox, and that’s why you get the likes of Kike, and DHam.
  21. Abreu has been a platoon guy all season, and that how Cora does things.
  22. It seems we need, and want different things. I know that’s hard to comprehend, and except, but that’s the way it is, and Nothing is going to change that.🤫
  23. I get all that part of it, but it just doesn’t make that much of a difference to me. Cora says he makes his lineup out based on who’s pitching on that particular day, and not on what’s going to be the best defensive team on that particular day. If one guy is better on D, because of it great. If your team is so deep, and good that you can make out the lineup based on who’s better on D, and with the bat, and it turns out the same person then that’s good too, but I don’t think there are to many of them. The most important thing on D is making the routine play, because there are more of them.
  24. For all practical purposes if the decision hasn’t been made yet then still looking for that third option in the fork in the road is not a good sign for now, or for things to come.
  25. I except the fact there are so many numbers thrown out there today, and some can’t function without them, which is fine too, but like you I could care less about all those numbers, and just watch, and enjoy the games. A bobbled, ball, and a bad throw is still an error, and is there for all to see if you are watching.
