  1. RAF Man FT in the OF cuts down on options, and needs, which also means needs to move Duran. Like I mentioned before that moving Raffy to FT DH limits options, and needs there especially for Ref Man.
  2. Anthony LF Eaton CF Garcia RF Campbell/Mayer 2B/SS
  3. Ref Man if Abreu is platooned. If Raffy is moved to DH that’s one less place for Ref Man to go, or anyone else to go for that matter.
  4. You keep suggesting all these moving parts where as I suggest the least moving parts the better. To me FT players should have FT positions, and platoons should come from backups who will also do the fill ins. Injuries has caused revolving doors, and more platoons the last few years, and that should be the only reason now IMO.
  5. It’s impossible to know is right. Arod may have been a better SS, but if Jeter had moved to 3B he might not have been as good of a 3B as ARod was, so you would have lost something there, so it’s not as cut, and dry as just inserting ARod at SS. The Red Sox could have had Mike Lowell, or Beltre playing 3B for them the last 3 years, and they still wouldn’t have made the postseason. Nothing is as cut, and dry, or as easy as some suggest on here.
  6. Go back, and listen to Cora’s interview, and you would know what was going on, and you wouldn’t have to ask all the questions.
  7. Unfortunately for you you’re not to find anything in print. I heard it right from the reporter’s mouth. Once again watching, and listening you get so much more info than trying to look it up, or hearing it from second, or third hand. Maybe other reporters had better luck I don’t know. I was just reporting what this reporter said.
  8. The reporter just asked Casas for an interview, and Casas said he wasn’t doing interviews.
  9. I get all that, and everyone is different. Like I said when it’s time it will happen, but it won’t be automatically. All three will get plenty of AB in ST. Cora has already said. Most likely the results of those AB will determine the 26 for a few of them. Mayer is behind the other 2 in developmental time.
  10. I said that’s when Cora said he was behind in his conditioning, and he spelled everything out, so if I hadn’t heard the interview with Cora what you had posted wouldn’t have helped much as watching the interview itself. Watching, and listening you get a lot more info than reading something from someone else.
  11. Disagree. They have to earn their way, and they haven’t done that yet. If they both have bang out camps then we can have that conversation. What if they don’t have good camps? Neither one of the three top prospects have had many AB in AAA. When it’s time it’s time.
  12. This is old news. Cora spelled this all out a few days ago when he said Raffy was behind on his conditioning, and has been mentioned a few times on here since then.
  13. Who’s upset? I was just reporting in real time from the reporter who said Casas was not doing interviews. Nothing more, and nothing less. Read into to it as you may. It’s the name of the game.
  14. For him yes. Most likely been talked to.
  15. Not at the moment. He’s not doing interviews.🤫
  16. I don’t hate platoons, but I have said for the most part I would rather have 9 everyday players. If Raffy is DH I’m not counting on Masa to be even on the team. I didn’t mention Abreu as being a everyday player, so Ref Man would probably platoon with him.
  17. Forget about last year. SS, 2B, and 1B base were pretty much revolving doors, because of injuries. If you don’t have all the injuries this year you don’t have all the revolving doors, and NO need for as many platoons. Bregman, Raffy, Story, Casas, Duran are all FT players. As it is now I think the RAF Man will be pretty much too. I know what Cora has said, but I don’t expect to see Masa in the OF if he is even still here.
  18. Hounding? Did the media force Raffy, and Cora to say what they did. Usually Cora doesn’t discuss with the media what he talks to the players about in private. This time he did.
  19. The media is just asking questions. Raffy didn’t have to answer like he did, and Cora didn’t have to answer like he did. If they wanted to air their grievances out to the public then everything is fair game. The fans take the info, and form their opinions, and run with it in all different directions just like on here. Listening to every word, and how it was said, and trying to decipher the true meaning. I don’t think Raffy would be into any pranks about 3B either.
  20. I don’t believe Raffy has started full scale defensive drills yet to next week, but it was reported in real time that Raffy working out at 3B this morning. As Cora has said Raffy is behind in his conditioning.
  21. Yes I heard both. NESN is the Red Sox station, and the other one is not. NESN, and TC are nowhere near as opinionated as the other station.
  22. Exactly! One of the worst ideas I’ve heard many times over is for there to be a time share at 1B/DH between Raffy, and Casas. IMO that would be a bad idea, because whomever plays there needs the work there EVERYDAY. It would not help anyone defensively to rotate, and Casas, or Raffy would need all the work they could get. To me a time share would complicate things even more.
  23. Yes I know those things have happened, but I meant no actions on who is playing where have been decided yet.
  24. Well the mood on this site is pretty much what’s out, and about in other places, but like I said except for some words here, and there no actions have taken place yet.
