KC is a Rookie who will do anything to stay in the Big Leagues, and Raffy is an established veteran. Two entirely different situations. KC also played many different positions in the minor leagues, which is an entirely different situation also.
The only way Alex Cora gets on the hot seat is if JH was to put him there, and I don’t see that happening anytime soon. What the O’s did has NO bearing on what JH will do, and I don’t believe Brez has enough power to do anything anyway.
I don’t think Brez wants to move Devers to 1B to get Masa into the lineup. Masa is out in exile, and as far as I know hasn’t even been the DH anywhere.
After winning one game Moon is back after a long absence posting an Wildcard update. More accurate the Red Sox are behind 6 teams in the L column 2-4 games, and tied with two others in the L column, so not quite the rosy picture you are presenting.
Cora is safe, because JH likes him. Most likely Cora was hired back the first time, because of JH, and most likely his last extension was, because of JH.
Both Story, and Masa have 2 more years left on their contracts too after this one. At least Sale’s contract would have been up after last year, and after Brez paid Atlanta $17M for Sale to win a CY for them.
But the BIG telltale sign is that Moon isn’t giving any Wildcard standings update, so let’s help him out. With a 22-24 record the Red Sox have 7 teams ahead of them in the all important loss column ranging from 1 game to 5 games. Your welcome!😀😀😃
Like I said yesterday the Red Sox are paying $18M to Masa who’s in exile, and $22M to Story Land whom the Red Sox would most likely like to close down.
