  1. Good PR, and credibility does not go hand in hand from JH down to Brez.
  2. Agree100%. If Casas has a full productive year this year his trade value would go up, and I don’t think having one less year control would hurt that trade value much, or if any at all. His ist arb year isn’t until the 2026, which is still plenty of time of control.
  3. Casas had pretty much a lost year last year, and the year before he had a horrible start before finishing stronger. I don’t know if his value is as high right now that some think. If he stays healthy, and puts up some good numbers in 2025 he’ll be more easier to trade, and help bring back a better return having one less year of control, or not IMO.
  4. I think the rotation is set too, but as we all know a lot can happen health wise between now, and the start of the season. I know some are chafing at the bit to see Gio in the rotation, and it would be nice seeing him earn some of that $38M, but I’m not even counting him to be ready to start the season on the active roster. Whitlock neither. No one knows what the Red Sox will get out of Gio once he does start pitching. Remember last seen Gio was a batting practice pitcher for Home Run Derby, and a good one at that.
  5. I think the rumored Casas being traded thing to Seattle for pitching is gone for this year after picking up Cro Man, and Bue Man. Keep him, and if he has a good year he’d be more easy to trade, and the return may be better come next year.
  6. One good thing is that the place kicker looks healthy, and back to normal.
  7. ND needs to get more offense to move on IMO. Should be two good games.
  8. Nice win by ND, but I think Ohio State is the team to beat right now.
  9. Can Story Land stay open,, and can Casas get off to a good start, and stay healthy?
  10. That would have been probably true. He had to get away from the bad injury juju that has enveloped Boston the past few years. Story has it, Gio got it, and Casas too.
  11. There are so Many rumors out there anyways that the fans just latch on to so it’s like it’s done for him. He has talked about a RHH that’s been easy to pick up the last three years, but seems to be a problem now.
  12. You mean Brez gave a Cy Young winner away for a real suspect?🙈
  13. Georgia- Notre Dame PP until tomorrow night.
  14. 👍👍👍. I know all of you post what you think the Red Sox should do, or shouldn’t do, and what you would like to see them do. I on the other hand sometimes post what I think the Red Sox are going to do, and not what I think about it. Big difference, but sometimes you just have to accept things as they are like in the case of Raffy at 3B, and Casas at 1B. EVERYONE is well aware they are not good at their positions. If it makes you feel better to keep talking about it, and that’s your thang then by all means go for it, but I don’t think it really does that. IMO
  15. Happy New Years to you too! The Red Sox have known about their Bad D for the last 3 years from. Arroyo in RF, Franchy at 1B, and keeping Kike at SS as long as they did. The Red Sox especially Cora has talked how the D being bad, and having to get better at length time after time in post games press conferences for the last three years. Tom the full throttle man has even mentioned it. They all know about it, but like I keep saying it’s not that big of a concern to them to fix it, and just keep playing the cards they have delt themselves, which is Raffy at 3B, and Casas at 1B, and Masa at DH. Clearly Rafaela doesn’t have Anything to do with that situation. Cora has said repeatedly that Raffy is the 3B, so you can cling to any reported discussions to move him off. Now to the important stuff. I didn’t tell anyone what people can say, or talk about. You guys crack me up. Some of you guys think you’re the smartest guys in the room including the Red Sox room. You’re not. The Red Sox from top to bottom know the infield D is bad, so to keep barking at the moon when the moon isn’t even out looks, and sounds kind of foolish. NNN is still living up to his name. Good football day today. You bet. Red Sox way on the back burner again. You bet.
  16. Nice try, but Sale was talked about ALL season long, and ALL throughout baseball, and by more than just me on here. It was also something that was actually happening unlike the Red Sox trying to fix the D, so happy to oblige. By the way. Atlanta was sure listening.🤫
  17. The Red Sox haven’t been kept out of the postseason the last 3 years, because of Raffy’s D at 3B. The Red Sox are just not concerned about the D as you, and others are, and are just playing the cards they have dealt themselves. Raffy, Casas, and Yoshida. The Red Sox wasn’t concerned under the Bloom, and Cora regime with the likes of Arroyo in RF, and Dr Franchy Strange Glove at 1B, and the Red Sox aren’t that concerned now with Brez, and Cora. Beating a dead horse to death, and keeping droning on, and on about is not going to change a thing. 3 yrs running now. The Red Sox are NOT listening.🤭🙈
  18. 3 year would be better, and a 1 year Beltre type signing would be great.
  19. I agree, but point being none of them are in a Red Sox uniform.
  20. Hope he’s better than Jeter.
  21. And for how much money, and for how long are you signing Bregman for at 31? Story has three more years on his contract with Mayer, and Campbell on the horizon, and then you have another 2B who came over for Sale who was supposed to be a hot prospect.
  22. Are you just now figuring this out. Devers is not a good 3B, and he’s shown Nothing to think he’d be a good 1B. He’s not a Boomer Scott, or even Youck who moved over, and became good 1B. I think Devers has a fragile psyche, and would not want to do it anyway, and it would not turn out as good, or as easy as you think.
  23. The Red Sox are not going to win any bidding wars on any generational talent.🙈🤭
  24. I think you’re wrong on Both accounts.
  25. What to you is a a significant move, and what to the Red Sox is a significant move are most likely two entirely different things. Bue Man to the Red Sox could be a significant move to them. Soto was NEVER coming to Boston, and the high priced long term starting pitcher contracts wasn’t going to be signed either.
