If Early is going to be a mid to low FB, slurver as a pitcher he will need to develop Maddox level corner control. He doesn't have it yet but he's Early. He does show he can pitch at this level and is an asset, just inefficient in pitch count

Aside from replacing Bello earlier , what good would another strong pitcher do to help this team win ? Believe it or not that is the object of the game. Harrison would not likely have been on the 26 out of ST, so no one would have known his abilities. Even with the injuries, Bres probably had Tolle and Early ahead of Kyle so he was the guy to trade away.
