    Not a knock on Anthony's future but no one should count on him to be a difference maker. this year. IF he comes back , he will need a month to catch up during which he will look bad and catch hell from fans. Also, given his '25 and now '26 injuries from swinging a bat, will he be reluctant to test his full swing capacity ?

    I cannot explain the lineup wide slump to open the season , though it started over the final 10 or so ST games, culminating in Cora and coaches massacre, BUT I do think the injuries to Crochet, Anthony and even Story contributed heavily to the season to date failure to get to .500

    It's only a 9:30pm start in remote parts of USA. It will still be daylight where the Sox complete the sweep. Every time Breslow gets bashed here, just realize you could have had Perry Minasian as GM. In fact, Perry may be available this October.

    Looks like Contreras is on a 7 day vacation which seems ridiculous and will be appealed . I think Cav got a similar spanking but a pitcher out 7 may only include 1 turn in the rotation.

    Gambia tightens up that bullpen. Do those 3 runs count against our differential ? What so these guys do differently in Worcester? Gambia threw a softball toss in the upper middle zone. MLB players crush those. AAA players miss them

    Not uncommon for a long IL returned to be slow to get back to MLB speed mid-season. The same will be true when Anthony tries it in September.
