    Well one good thing is they won’t see Valdez. He’s beginning to remind of the way Gaylord Perry used to pitch against the Sox back in the 70s. Sox couldn’t touch Gaylord, and on the rare occasion they did score a few runs against him, Cleveland’s offense would show up.

    Was about to ask if they should walk Alvarez; couldn’t type fast enough. Dumb pitch selection; he’s gone oppo both previous ABs, so let’s throw the pitch where he can do it again.

    When he was going well early in the season and then again in August, he was going to right quite a bit. He has become completely pull happy in October.

    And they will continue to do as long as they keep trying to pull the ball. You have to think opposite field against that sinker. It’s no coincidence the closest thing the Sox have to a hit was Verdugo liner that was just foul to left.
