    Here's an interesting (long) article about the effects of robo-umps in the Low A Southeast League, where they used them this past season.     Yes I am. Any big league pitcher can make opposing hitters look silly if they have their stuff that day. It’s how often they have their good stuff that separates the great from the good from the average from the bad.

    It says something about the Astros lineup that they have this year’s AL batting champ batting 7th. Tucker was top 10 and hits 6th.

    Devers needs to stay within himself here. A single is what’s needed. He doesn’t need to swing out if his shoes to hit a long ball.

    Wanted the lefty hitter, but why not Shaw. He’s at least a threat to hit the ball hard somewhere.
