  1. I have no faith in Watson and Kelly. I have some hope Weissert can turn it back around, but how long a leash do we give him? I'm big on stats, but I do wonder when I see things like this and wonder... Only two Sox pitchers have faced more batters and have a lower OPS Against than Kelly! (Same with WHIP) .409 Tolle (67 PAs Against) .549 Suarez (137) .589 Kelly (47) Samaniego has 46 PAs against and is at .479 and Chapman is at .525 with 40 PAs against, but nobody else is close. Only 3 pitchers have more IP and a better ERA.
  2. Even his splits vs LHPs is better than many RHBs.
  3. He did get hot for a few games: let's hope his .381 OPS over the last 3 games is just a blip. (1 for 14 w 2 BB)
  4. Yes, All lies. What's funniest is when we catch you in lies, which is very often, you resort to deflections and your standby respone: "You overanalyze everything." You don't even know what nonsense means. I'll do this site a favor and stop responding to your lies, stalking and total BS.
  5. Yes, after 10 years, you finally made a half confession. It marks a milestone.
  6. If this is the closest you can come, I rest my case.
  7. Probably all teams have one guy that blows up their numbers, but yes on Bello (and Crochet.) We are 23 runs from 10th best in MLB. It's doable, but there are no signs anyone is going to step up.
  8. It's pretty sad seeing only 4 batters over .702 (Wong,) and one of them is Yoshida, who has about or less than half the PAs than 7 teammates. Nobody is over .850. .847 Contreras .841 Abreu .772 Yoshida .726 Rafaela .702 Wong .675 Anthony These 5 batters need a serious turn-around: .655 Mayer .628 Monasterio .605 Narvaez .586 Duran These last 3 batters have been horrific: .528 Story .525 Durbin .449 IKF _____________________ OPS Against (40+) .409 Tolle .479 Samaniego .525 Chapman .549 Suarez .589 Kelly .658 Moran .711 Whitlock .716 Gray .723 Early .736 Bennett .818 Crochet .899 Weissert .907 Watson .955 Bello (Anderson with 32 at .713 and Coulombe w 36 at .736.
  9. 24th in Runs (5 Runs from 21st and 12 from being 15th) Last year: 7th 14th in Runs Allowed (5 away from 8th and 30 away from 3rd) Last year: 10th
  10. Many times, yes. You guys are so proud, you even brag about your lies.
  11. Nothing like facing the Rays to bring the team back down to earth, or should I say dirt.
  12. I think Watson's leash has snapped off and the dog is now running loose on the town.
  13. GRE won 6-4 and had 16 hits & 5 walks. Every batter got on base 2+ times! Gonzales (5) and Godbout (5) homered. Both are now over .870. Kirwin K'd 6 in 3 scoreless innings. Seigler homered (1st) for Woo, who was up 7-4 going into the 9th. It's tied, now.
  14. Complete lies. It's no use even trying with you. You and MVP, who claims he's never made a mistake are a good fit, but at least he gives specific opinions and gets a lot right.
  15. How many posters here see me as the fan who bails more than most? Red does. That says it all. My loyalty to the Sox goes beyond an obsessive level. I'm literally coo-coo for Coco Puffs on this. Red blasts me for being over supportive of Ben, Bloom, Cora then in the next breathe calls me out for "bailing." Talk about extreme absurdity.
  16. So? BTW, I was the first to "bail" one season, and so what about it? Sometimes I get excited when a good thing happens, so what about it? I don't lie about what other people say, double and triple down on it. I don't make wishy-washy statements then claim I'm right no matter what the result end up. Yes, I wanted us to extend Betts for 10, 12 and even mentioned 14 years to bring the AAV down. Yes, I drove the Devers forevers bus. I'm not going to lie. I felt we need to keep one of our stars. I'm now glad we dumped him, and so what? You praise Fred and his negativity and have an issue with me bailing on the Sox one season, years ago? There is no rhyme or reason to anything you say. You crack me up- literally. I'm chuckling so loud, my wife asked what I'm laughing at.
  17. He thinks being an excited fan is some sort of defect... like saying "Mayer for Mayor" and then he goes in a slump is something to be ashamed of. He thinks admitting when you're wrong is a defect, and lying is a strength.
  18. Bloom did a lot of trial by error, and he cycled through many flops to end up with a gem or so-so guy, but when you're dealing with min wage or $<2M players, a lot cannot be expected.
  19. Like I said, nice effort. I feel honored you took time out for this. 🤩
  20. Yes, unlike you, I don't lie about my positions (and more so about other's positions and motives.) I've made many of my positions known, and I'm specific- not wishy-washy. I admit I get a lot wrong. Maybe as much or more than ben, Bloom & Brez.
  21. Much of Brez's draft picks are TBD, as expected, and some have already been used in trades. 2024: 12 Montgomery (traded with others for Crochet) 50 Tolle (already in the rotation) 148 Clarke (Part of Sonny Gray trade) 177 Aita (Part of Contreras trade) 237 Cason (still has some promise) 297 Futrell (has eye-popping numbers, this season) 2025: 15 Witherspoon (ranked highly by sps.com) 33 Phillips (Comp pick as part of Preister trade) 75 Godbout (sort of busting out) 87 Eyanson (looks like a steal from 3rd rd) Some under-the-radar moves: Romy of waivers ('24) Ryan Ammons for Rule 5 Slaten Santos & Robertson for O'Neill Verdugo for Weissert and Fitts (later traded as part of Contreras trade) E R-C for Narvaez Booser for Fajardo (later part of Contreras trade) Schreiber for Sandlin (later used to dump Hicks) Gasper for Moran (later got Gasper back) Jh Garcia & Travieso for Samaniego & Oviedo Signed Nate Lowe mid season '25 Jordan for Matz Signed Criswell ('24) Chapman ('25 kinda in radar) Wilson ('25) Newcomb (then traded away) I probably missed some and called some no so under-the -radar as such.
  22. Looks like you've joined the Ole Red stocking moonslav bandwagon. Nice efforts.
  23. Brez did bring Ref back, but yes, Bloom gets the finder's fee. Brez has not done too well with the "gems in the rough" as I used to say about what Bloom was supposed to be good at finding. Narvaez looked like one, last year. Some pitchers like Slaten, Criswell and others were cheap finds, but Romy does look like the best Brez example.
  24. A real Nostradamus! 🤣
