    You're obviously being ironic, but it amazes me the number of presumed fans who claim to believe this. That the Pete Rozelle insistence on 'parity' has ruined sports. They long to be like Nebraska fans who fill the stadium to watch their guys whoop ass on Akron. And apparently can't stand the notion of competition between equals--you know, like Frazier/Ali.

    Tapia is a lot of fun to watch on the basepaths ... IF he can just get there more often. Becoming one of my favorite players for his speed and hustle. (Hear that, Tristan? Maybe the next time you ground out you can actually run down the basepath instead of doing your Hanley Ramirez imitations?)

    I don't remember that you and I ever got into it, but you're probably correct. But the truly astonishing thing is that there are those, apparently humans, who disagree with us about Youk.

    Of course Youk says what he thinks. That's the problem. It's as if I were to say everything I think: like I was walking today and I met this dog you know dogs are cooler than cats well not for everyone but they're similar I mean you have to feed them and take them out, dogs I mean, cats you don't because you have cat boxes and the sun was out today did you notice that when the sun's out it's warmer than when it's not although you have to consider where you are because the sun is what heats the earth you know I was driving today and I don't think Passat is a great car pice of crap actually but it's old and older cars are older than newer cars but age is relative I mean you know we were talking about dogs and dogs don't live as long as cats or maybe they do but not as long as us you know I was in Boston a few years ago, they have this bridge to get in and ...
