  1. I'm a Cora supporter and I think he has good reasons for what he does, but unfortunately it seems like whenever he does the double sit-out, the rest of the guys do squat and make it look questionable.
  2. Some folks suggested he ate too well this winter...
  3. I also think the team's resilience speaks well for Cora.
  4. (Which was of course a misnomer for Youk, who was not Greek.)
  5. That's going to be a bad contract. And he's a good player. But not nearly that good.
  6. Baez .556, wow. Just another reminder that baseball is hard.
  7. Your take on Bradley continues to be wildly over the top. He's playing his usual great D and has a .760 OPS since May 1.
  8. Yes, when it comes to baseball it's not always who you're playing, but when you're playing them.
  9. I don't think STORK is a Yankee fan, because they are usually not shy about it.
  10. Bradley's bWAR inched up from 0.5 to 0.6 with his hit last night. Hard to believe some people don't see the fun in WAR.
  11. 2020 was definitely a year to forget, in many ways.
  12. 60 games. And they were turning it around toward the end of them!
  13. Because he had virtually no money to work with? That tends to limit you to the scrap heap.
  14. Hey STORK Let's narrow down who your favorite team is. How many rings have they won in the last 20 years?
  15. Wait, you call everyone pink hats and you say I'm throwing insults? You're a gutless troll who won't even disclose who his team is. At least JDavis76 is honest about that.
  16. Criticizing Bradley is one thing, calling him a loser and garbage is just wrong. He's a veteran who's been on division winning teams, won an ALCS MVP award and a World Series ring, career WAR of 18 etc.
  17. I realize. The bottom line is Bloom had his reasons and he seems pretty smart to me. He's made a lot of good moves. I don't see getting up in arms about the possibility of being on the losing end of a relatively minor deal.
  18. Bloom thought he was a potential starter until he saw the medicals. Downs isn't a bust yet. We'll see.
  19. Graterol is a mediocre relief pitcher. Making a big deal out of him makes you look dumb. Which you are.
  20. Assuming JBJ and Renfroe both play next year, JBJ will cost $24 mill and Renfroe will cost about $18.5 mill. So a $5.5 mill difference over 2 years. A questionable move, but not nearly the fiasco some have tried to make it out to be.
  21. Renfroe is under the Brewers' control this year and next. He's making 7.5 mill this year and probably 10.5 or 11 next year. This may turn out to be a minus trade, but it's unlikely to be a seriously bad one. It was a major upgrade on defense.
  22. This post is mostly nonsense.
  23. Every year? What?
  24. It's all pretty much a crapshoot, in other words.
