  1. Maybe it's because he still kind of looks like a little kid, even with the facial foliage. I'm not a Steph lover but he did impress me in this series.
  2. We've seen his basic approach last season and this one. Keep building for the future while trying to make the playoffs in the present. His real test is coming between now and next Opening Day. A lot of contracts ending and money coming off the books.
  3. It's a little silly saying the Sox were "not very good" last year. On paper they had no right beating the Yankees and Rays and going up 2-1 on Houston. But they did.
  4. He scored 43 points in Game 4 and 34 last night. He delivered the goods at crunch time. What more can you ask?
  5. But we all do that. You and notin have contests predicting who will be the next guy DFA'd. Swihart just takes it to more of an extreme...
  6. I argue with you about some stuff, but I know you want the Sox to win.
  7. A well-deserved win for the Warriors. They join the Red Sox as teams to win 4 titles this century.
  8. See the difference? I'm sure and you're not.
  9. Tylers, Trevors and Tanners are everywhere.
  10. Verlander's already done it. As have some others.
  11. One thing I am sure of about every single Red Sox fan here, is that they want the Red Sox to win every time out.
  12. If you're an A's fan, you need something to be proud of.
  13. Right, you're the guy who has to explain the real facts to us ignorant people on Talksox.
  14. Who knows what's considered a success, other than winning it all. Some people don't consider 2021 a success.
  15. That's what you're like!
  16. If you really intend to use that, you must really like typing.
  17. Yeah, it really worked out well for the Yankees last year when the Sox were buyers instead of sellers.
  18. Not really. When you say someone over's their head, that implies they can't do the job, and that's incompetence.
  19. I'm still in the public accounting trade at age 66. I have Fridays off now and my legit working hours per week are down to 20-25.
  20. But if Refsnyder does well, will you also call that over managing?
  21. Sale didn't quite make it back...
  22. It's always easy managing from the armchair.
  23. Sometimes it's trial and error. Plus they were expecting Barnes and Robles to be better.
