    I was thinking about this too (it was actually Saturday he was used). The only way it makes sense is if they intend to use him as our right-handed set-up guy - we certainly appear to need one.

    Pablo can show up in good shape and play hard. The problem is that he'll be 2 years older than the last time he played good and he didn't play at all last year. So he's a player already in decline who is now also coated in rust.
