Well, I missed the draft, but I think I have as decent a team as I could have hoped for. I really wanted Donaldson, so that's a big plus. I feel pretty good about my pitching, with Sanchez, Fulmer, Maeda, Hill, and Nola, and I ended up with a couple solid hitters, like Jose Abreu, Charlie Blackmon, and George Springer. Not bad. Not bad at all.

How well has Xander played at third in the WBC? I haven't seen too much of it, especially the Dutch team. It's worth having this conversation if he's been a standout, but I think moving him will mess a lot of this team's mojo and chemistry.

If Sale turns out to be the clubhouse poison I think he will be, we'll miss the playoffs. Otherwise, we should Win Dance Repeat about 90 times.

I understand the decision to not participate in the WBC. If it were a bigger deal, with more at stake than just pride, then I would feel differently. It's too close to the start of the MLB season, and guys certainly don't want to get hurt and ruin their MLB team's season. I'm praying nothing happens to Bogaerts. The other thing it has going against it is that it runs the same time as March Madness. Who would voluntarily watch the WBC over March Madness? Not me.

As much as I'm an advocate for stats, I realize that they're not the only way to succeed in the fantasy sports setting. This coming from 2015's runner-up, 2016's champ, and a two time defending fantasy football champ. So, until you win the title, not having stat heads can't be deemed a problem.

I'll say it now, so I can say I told you so 5 months from now: Chris Sale is a poison in the clubhouse. He will be a detriment to this team's morale, and will hold back the team's performance in some significant way. I still think we're a playoff team, but with Chris Sale, we're certainly not a championship caliber team.

I'm in, will pay later. Is this keeper thing for real? I love it, except for the fact that my #1 pitcher from last year is now watching from above. Let me know when you set the draft. My schedule will be getting much busier soon when school baseball starts up.

From what I understand, it seems like it is under control. Hate to see it happen, but I loved OB, Eck, and/or Steve on those long road trips last year.

There was a long article about hometown boy Jeff Bagwell in today's Hartford Courant. Well deserved. He did everything the right way, and everybody in CT still loves him.

I'm totally in love with JT. I like everything about him: the way he plays the game, his personality, how approachable he is in person, everything. And while we're talking about hot females in the golf world, how about Brooke Henderson??? I would attach a picture but I'm on my phone right now...
