  1. And so was Ryan Leaf, as were a lot of guys who never succeeded. You don't just give the ball to someone who might flop in favor of a guy who's pretty much a sure thing every season.
  2. He also tried to argue that Gonzo is an offensive threat this season, and a bunch of other mindless crap. No one can be this dumb.
  3. Yeah but they had no idea Rodgers was going to be as stellar as he has been, and Favre was coming off damn good season. The way they treated him was tacky, considering he was the fan favorite, and easily the greatest QB in Packers history. Overall, I'm just glad that he's here now, as our problem was the exact opposite. All the talent in the world, great defense, great running game, great offensive and defensive line. Well then you look at our QBs and... Yeah... Terrible. I just wish we would have kept Matt Birk. How we let him slip away was beyond me, especially considering that he wanted to play for us this season.
  4. His career post season ERA: Look at it. He was injured last postseason.
  5. The Patriots only outscored the Jags in the 3rd Quarter, otherwise it was an even ballgame the entire way through, and they played even games with both the Giants and the Chargers, like you said. I just thought I'd clear that up. Read my above post, it elaborates a bit more on what I was saying.
  6. For what it's worth, in 2007 the Giants weren't considered a very good team. For the 2007-08 regular season, the Patriots were the best team, but they struggled in the playoffs, and the Giants beat them in the Super Bowl, and were probably the best, most complete football team during the 2008 regular season.
  7. Really? Really? For 2008, I'd have to go ahead and say the Giants. 2007 was the regular season, so I'd go with the Pats on that one.
  8. Using Duensing? Maybe he's using the Connie Mack strategy.
  9. Why is Bedard even still being mentioned? He has a torn labrum, and he wouldn't even be available until sometime later into the next season. Not to mention it could, and probably will, have a dramatic effect on his performance. Again, even without that torn labrum, I'd still consider Harden slightly favored ahead of Bedard, but that's irrelevant at this point.
  10. Yes it would have been.
  11. Awesome move, now Sanchez has a good target to throw to, especially if he were to return to 2007 form. One of the best motivators in sports is success.
  12. Well I guess I added a few statistics then?
  13. It is time for you to read my location, and previous posts
  14. Pretty sure I live in Minnesota, bud
  15. Not the same thing Pete
  16. I'm loving this, but I almost had a heart attack when they called him out at home
  17. Already threw him in the fire. I believe that one was taken just before he was placed in the flames, if I recall correctly. And the other one from before, too
  18. He's just waiting to get thrown in the fire
  19.
  20. How'd you know?
