  1. Pythagorus said that you should have gone 76-86 in '21. Very weird roster.
  2. “You can’t replace someone like Raffy,” Kennedy said. Even if you believe this, why say it? This guy is so dumb.
  3. "Well, players should just want to play for the Sox by taking LESS money and not caring if they are traded a year or two into their contract. He clearly just didn't want to be here. It had nothing to do with us not wanting him or getting outbid!"
  4. Wilson and Coulombe are both still available.
  5. Sure, but they already have pretty ridiculous depth. 1. Crochet 2. Suarez 3. Gray 4. Bello 5. Sandoval 6. Oviedo 7. Crawford 8. Early 9. Tolle 10. Uberstine
  6. Blum is a 6'7" UDFA who added 5 MPH to his 4 seamer since May and throws a plus curveball, per his pitching coach.
  7. I think they will try to deal Sandoval so that they get back under the 2nd threshold. If he's looking good in ST, someone will want him.
  8. He was 46 when he fought Robin Ventura. I don't know if deGrom will be able to lift his arm when he's 46.
  9. I'm old, but not "remembers Mario Mendoza's playing days" old. I did know that he's who the Mendoza line was created for. I remember Yaz Day, but anything before that I was too young to really pay attention.
  10. I heard IKF was a good clubhouse guy. He's supposed to leave the clubhouse at some point?
  11. Durbin needs the high socks. Sorry. Mayer knows what's up.
  12. You might get positive regression from the pitchers, but you'll definitely see negative regression from Cal and Naylor. TBH Donovan and Durbin are the same player except that Durbin can play 150 games.
  13. IDK, Ray Knight was an aggressive runner. HoJo was up next. He would have walked it off anyway at that point.
  14. The Mariners won the same amount of games last year as the Sox. Why are they a tier above them?
  15. Mayer is going to see the IL whether he's well rested or not.
  16. I don't care about Banda. I'm just making assumptions on what Breslow may or may not like. He dumped all the high bb guys this offseason (Guerrero, Hicks, Murphy, Bernardino, Winckowski, Harrison) except for Moran. Coulombe is too short.
  17. Recheck your math. They scored 5.4 runs per game in September. (146 runs) They gave up 6.4 runs per game. (172 runs)
  18. I don't want to get rotten produce thrown at me, but: Jarren Durbin Anthony Contreras Abreu Story Mayer Narvaez Rafaela
  19. Honestly, he probably does have it scheduled somewhat. There's probably a certain amount of games played before you take a day off. Brock Holt said what he liked most about Cora was that he was a great communicator and he always knew in advance what his schedule was going to be.
  20. I'd swap him and Story. Too many k's from Story for him to be at #2 for me.
