    Wait, Masa also is going to the WBC. Is he playing LF for Japan? Maybe that's why he's out in LF today as well.

    If Campbell is absolutely mashing, we could see a platoon. Otherwise, I bet they try to get Abreu to hit vs LHP for better or worse.

    He's never bounced to begin with IMO. I think Cowser, Henderson and Rutschman are more important to the team.

    The only player that would have been good to opt out is Story. It forces the Sox into a better defensive lineup by moving Mayer to SS. I don't believe anyone thought Bregman was staying for a second season.

    KC is playing CF today. He's not at DH. In general, ST doesn't really matter except for reps. In the regular season, if they are both in the starting lineup, I don't think KC would be at DH and Masa would be in LF. KC is a better OFer and I don't think they'd be DHing him if the injury bug got that far.

    I was thinking if they were both on the same team per what moon had posted (KC at DH, Masa in LF) not whether KC was in AAA or not.

    I think there is some positive regression for the O's. Alonso and the new players probably don't have to make up a full 14 games, Are they already closer to the 91 win '24 squad? IDK.

    I'd play Campbell in the OF before I'd put Masa out there. Not that Masa is bad, but that Campbell has been decent out there in short stretches.

    He'll play a lot of OF in ST with Anthony, Duran and Abreu at the WBC.

    I don't like Cease. Okamoto is a big question mark. Springer is going to take a huge step back this year. I don't see the Jays winning the division this year. Would I be shocked if they missed the playoffs? No.

    They've never been more united and the poor, poor owners who can't afford the players have stocked away $2.25B in a strike fund. They NEED a cap though because they don't have enough cash. Where'd that $2.25B come from? Who knows? The reporters don't care because if they make too many waves they'll lose access.

    The defense was notably better (at times) last season. Still work to do. My favorite part was whenever Narvaez was behind the plate, except for the interferences.

    The bad defense made my bourbon budget go up too high.

    Then the playoffs are expanding to 16 teams and the regular season no longer really matters TBH.
