    What a terrible pitch that was to Durbin, sweeper over the middle of the plate. If he just cleans up garbage pitches like that, he'll have a long career because of his glove.

    I wouldn't dump Bello. He has lost too much value. He goes back into the rotation for the rest of the year for me. I'm dealing Sandoval and picking up waiver claims on every pitcher I can to take rotation spots down the stretch.

    Pitt has a better win % and better diff. They also may just want to acquire Whitlock because he has several years of control.

    But what if Duran hit like '24, Masa hit like Japan, Story hit like he was in Coors, Mayer actually hit like he never has, Anthony hit like August '25, Durbin went to better hitting instructors in ST, Abreu actually had a career year and Rafaela won the triple crown? WHAT IF?

    It's the trade deadline and it almost always is a seller's market. Less teams than ever move quality players. Time to open up shop IMO.

    To me, the core of this team isn't good enough to win it all. What do they need to do to get there? What does an Abreu trade look like? It really depends on the return TBH. He's here for 3 more seasons and the Sox don't really have a bunch of OFers ready to contribute.

    Need Sandoval to pitch lights out and then for him to be traded right after.

    We've already seen the pitching injuries start. A few more and the season is officially cooked. Really need to go easy on some of the young arms down the stretch.
