    They were and they were a really good duo. They never did anything to build around them thought. They once spent $200 million in an off season on Otto Porter, Ian Mahinmi, Andrew Nicholson and Jason smith. They’re not very smart

    I honestly only really go to watch other teams players play. I watched nuggets just for Jokic, Cavs for Mitchell, Spurs for Wemby, stuff like that lol.

    They have given away more NBA stars/good players for nothing than almost any team In the league. Absolutely terrible franchise to root for and I’m just kind of over even trying to be positive. They also just can’t get any luck whatsoever. I knew the team was cursed when John Wall tore his ACL, was rehabbing and helping his mom with cancer and then tore his achilies in his own house from randomly slipping.

    That’s the one sport I never could get into. I just find hockey extremely boring. I attend more Wizards games per year than Caps and I get both free.

    A&M @ Kyle Field is an incredibly tough matchup. It’s a solid win on the resume and the secondary is legit. Benjamin Morrison will be playing on Sundays next year and I have a feeling Xavier Watts will be too. Notre Dame should be favorites in every game the rest of the way. However. I still need to see more from Leonard to have confidence in this team. He missed a lot of open throws and made questionable decisions all night. I will say though, he is tough and you won’t ever question his effort.

    I’m very interested to see how Riley Leonard looks. He’s been projected a first round pick but injuries and Dukes lack of talent has lowered his stock. Big year for him and Notre Dame needs him healthy and locked in

    There is someone or possibly a small group of horrendous trolls that we’ve been dealing with for years. I’ve IP banned him/them dozens of times at this point. Once they’re banned they’ll use a proxy to make a new account and wait to be approved, and repeat the process. Luckily sometimes they’ll use easy to identify names but they were somehow still getting approved occasionally. I think one of the names literally had “penis” in the name….. this guy will post porn, racial slurs, disturbing pictures and DM people. He has no limits to what he’ll post. He went away for awhile because YOTN went ghost, Yeszir wasn’t active often and I was never given the power to approve/deny new accounts. Now that the site is changing hosts and approving new members more frequently, this jack ass is going to potentially be a major issue. He has absolutely no life and is a loser

    If Teel is as good as advertised, I have a feeling Wong is going to be a trade piece at some point. He is an above average hitting catcher but I’m not sure he has enough value as a hitter or is good enough defensively to play anywhere else, and he is probably too good to be a backup.

    There is a guy guys on this roster who’ve been given way to many chances. Keller has proven he’s sucked and Joel Rodriguez has really proven he sucks time and time again. He is 32, he has an career ERA of nearly 5, he’s been cut countless times by multiple teams, career WAR of -1.5 and he somehow keeps ending up back on this team, I don’t understand it.

    If it wasn’t for Jarren Duran, I’m not sure I’d even want to watch this team some nights. also, Luis Garcia is horrible. He has been one of the Sox worst trade deadline acquisitions in recent memory. Dude makes 07 Eric Gagne look like a great pitcher.

    Oh that guy? Yeah, I don’t remember who specifically was doing that, but I do remember there was times I’d be up at night and think to check the site because I can’t sleep and it would be covered in porn, gore and whatever else some random troll was posting at 2 am. There was a period I stopped reading the site for awhile because of that also. Every thread was personal attacks, I even saw slurs being thrown around and etc. 09-2012 TalkSox had some insane things posted and ridiculous fights. I don’t miss that era. It was more unhinged than current Twitter

    I honestly don’t remember much of the 2012 season as the team was dreadful to watch and this site was unreadable for a period of time. Every time I checked the site it was nonstop fighting, Yankees trolls everywhere and for some reason I even remember seeing threads where people pretended to be Jason Variteks dad and there was so much trolling. The “Anything Goes” sub forum was an absurd part of this site. Edit: This was also well before I was a mod and I didn’t have the time or interest to read all the random fighting and drama on the site at the time. Like we’ll occasionally get a troll thread from a random old users burner accusing random users of being pedophiles and s*** of that nature and I have no idea what the references even mean.

    I don’t think it’s a stupid question at all. I think a majority of the cussing is done in game threads, which makes sense as it is people reacting in the moment to plays as they watch them, which is why I never saw a problem with it. I feel like this forum is way more tame than what I’ve heard at bars, the games themselves and especially Twitter/X lol.

    I’ve never been one to care about swear words as long as we aren’t using offensive racial slurs or anything of that nature. The only time I’ve ever really had an issue is if it’s a personal attack on someone. Typically the only topic of conversation that I’ve really had to delete/warn people not to do is personal attacks and almost anything political. Politics and a baseball forum just don’t really mix well.
