Did he ever tell them or imply he was going to talk to the media Sunday?

Is talking to the media even required in baseball? I know there is pretty strict rules requiring media seasons in NFL and NBA, but I wasn’t aware of anything like that in MLB. Devers has previously implied he doesn’t like talking to the media and part of it is due to him lacking confidence in his English. He can speak English fine but I think he has the worry that a lot of guys have when speaking a second language, their words being misconstrued or taken the wrong way. I know Ohtani has spoken about this previously. This is a non story for me. If he doesn’t want to talk to the media, don’t. It doesn’t mean he isn’t a good leader or clubhouse guy.

Missing the playoffs with this schedule and the expanded college football playoff is unacceptable. It would be one thing to lose to a ranked team late in the season, But Northern Illinois? This team doesn’t deserve it. I also heavily question the play calling. Why do they not give the ball to Jeremiyah Love more? Scouts rave about him and whenever he touches the ball, good things happen and he only has 28 total touches In 2 games.. he’s scored a touchdown in both games and averaging nearly 7 yards a carry but they don’t use him. I don’t get it

He was absolutely horrendous in Boston, injury or not.

Another player who I feel like who is fairly forgotten and pretty random that played in Boston is Bill Hall. He looked like he was about to be out of the league and signed in Boston for the league minimum and surprisingly was a very good bench player for a season.

Honestly the only reason I remember Brandon Phillips in Boston is he was one of my favorite players. I was so excited when we signed him to a minor league deal and hoped he had something left in the tank, at least defensively. I still remember that game winning pimp job homer he hit. It was one of the many memorable moments from 2018. I wish I could forget Allen Craig because he really sucked.

I work restaurant industry and a lot of the liquor reps give us free tickets in exchange for carrying certain items. The Wizards, Nats, Caps and Orioles tickets are usually not very sought after so I usually take the baseball ones and go with my girlfriend or a friend whose a fan of the opposing team.

They were and they were a really good duo. They never did anything to build around them thought. They once spent $200 million in an off season on Otto Porter, Ian Mahinmi, Andrew Nicholson and Jason smith. They’re not very smart

I honestly only really go to watch other teams players play. I watched nuggets just for Jokic, Cavs for Mitchell, Spurs for Wemby, stuff like that lol.

They have given away more NBA stars/good players for nothing than almost any team In the league. Absolutely terrible franchise to root for and I’m just kind of over even trying to be positive. They also just can’t get any luck whatsoever. I knew the team was cursed when John Wall tore his ACL, was rehabbing and helping his mom with cancer and then tore his achilies in his own house from randomly slipping.

That’s the one sport I never could get into. I just find hockey extremely boring. I attend more Wizards games per year than Caps and I get both free.

A&M @ Kyle Field is an incredibly tough matchup. It’s a solid win on the resume and the secondary is legit. Benjamin Morrison will be playing on Sundays next year and I have a feeling Xavier Watts will be too. Notre Dame should be favorites in every game the rest of the way. However. I still need to see more from Leonard to have confidence in this team. He missed a lot of open throws and made questionable decisions all night. I will say though, he is tough and you won’t ever question his effort.

I’m very interested to see how Riley Leonard looks. He’s been projected a first round pick but injuries and Dukes lack of talent has lowered his stock. Big year for him and Notre Dame needs him healthy and locked in

There is someone or possibly a small group of horrendous trolls that we’ve been dealing with for years. I’ve IP banned him/them dozens of times at this point. Once they’re banned they’ll use a proxy to make a new account and wait to be approved, and repeat the process. Luckily sometimes they’ll use easy to identify names but they were somehow still getting approved occasionally. I think one of the names literally had “penis” in the name….. this guy will post porn, racial slurs, disturbing pictures and DM people. He has no limits to what he’ll post. He went away for awhile because YOTN went ghost, Yeszir wasn’t active often and I was never given the power to approve/deny new accounts. Now that the site is changing hosts and approving new members more frequently, this jack ass is going to potentially be a major issue. He has absolutely no life and is a loser

If Teel is as good as advertised, I have a feeling Wong is going to be a trade piece at some point. He is an above average hitting catcher but I’m not sure he has enough value as a hitter or is good enough defensively to play anywhere else, and he is probably too good to be a backup.

There is a guy guys on this roster who’ve been given way to many chances. Keller has proven he’s sucked and Joel Rodriguez has really proven he sucks time and time again. He is 32, he has an career ERA of nearly 5, he’s been cut countless times by multiple teams, career WAR of -1.5 and he somehow keeps ending up back on this team, I don’t understand it.
