    Regardless of how good or bad the Marlins are, you will take a pitcher going 6.2 innings and allowing only 1 run, every single start. The Marlins are an MLB team and even the worst hitters in the MLB are still some of the best in the world. Bello needed a good start and this at the very least should help his confidence if nothing else. I’m still very high on Bello, and hopefully this gets him going, the Sox NEED him to pitch better than what he’s been doing.

    Big start By Bello tonight. Hopefully this builds him some confidence going forward. Connor Wong extends his hit streak to a league leading 18 games. Rafael Devers has a career high 4 triples with almost half a season to go. Yoshida has caught fire and it’s made a huge difference having him back in the lineup over guys like Garrett Cooper and Bobby Dalbec. Only real negative from today’s game? Dominic Smith really sucks. Hopefully Casas is close

    That was Jarren Duran’s 100th hit and 10th HR of the season. He is the first American League player ever to record all of the following before the All-Star break: - 100 hits - 10 triples - 10 HR - 20 stolen bases The only NL player to do that is José Reyes (2008).

    There have been rumors for awhile about expansion in the NBA, including a Vegas team and Lebron himself has said he’d be interested in an expansion team. I don’t know the legality of that happening, but I think that is more likely to happen than FSG purchasing the Celtics. Lebron may even be retired by the time the opportunity for the Vegas team comes up. I say “may” because Lebron could probably play into his 40s because he’s that good.

    Sox needed that one. Nice games by Devers and Duran per usual, awesome start by Winck and Jansen continues to be extremely good.

    There have been pitchers worse than Keller who have been claimed/signed. If he is DFA, someone will give him another shot.

    Yeah the NBA is very confusing. You can’t trade back to back first round picks, you have to match salaries. Sometimes a trade exception, which itself is confusing to understand/explain can be used to match salary. It’s a lot to take in.

    I always laugh when people mention guys like Brad Keller or Reese McGuire as trade bait. I’m sure teams are lining up for those guys

    What is this weird trend of whenever someone is doing well, people on this site want to “sell high” and trade them? its been suggested for Duran, Rafaela, Houck and Now Hamilton

    The Sox do at least have 2 off days during that 10 day span. He’ll definitely be back almost as soon as the 10 days end, especially if Campbell keeps pitching this terrible.

    I think Booser was just because he pitched every game in the Reds series and he was probably unavailable for 1-2 days anyway. Not saying I wanted Campbell back, but I can at least see some logic in that.

    I don't care to even watch the game, but I like seeing the Sox players get rewarded for great play and like seeing them get the accomplishment of "all star" on their resumes. Especially for guys like Duran, Houck and Wong, who have never made it before.

    He should be a lock, but you really never know with all star game selections. Weird things happen since every team has to have a representative

    You think losing Giolito before the season started, struggling to find an 5th starter with Whitlock and others being injured and hitting the IL and having some of the worst production in the MLB at 1B without Casas has helped? Yeah okay, sure.

    Duran, Wong and Houck should be all stars. What will probably happen is Devers gets picked as the lone representative

    I’m not a fan of trading Kenley. This team is competing and playing hard, despite so many injuries. I think a big part of that is having a great clubhouse and Kenley has always been a good club house guy and veteran leader. I’m a big fan of him and there is a reason he’s a future hall of famer

    I meant more so interesting that he doesn’t usually pitch 3 days in a row, especially with his age. Hes been rock solid this season though
